It doesn't go by time. You kill the boss, you either get an exotic or not, and then you need to use another coin.

Ah, kk. ty. Ive heard that if you don't get one.. it gives you a greater chance on your next kill. Anyidea how many times that stack? Like say I don't get one on my first 4 kills will my 5th attempt have the greatest chance? If no one knows the answer its whatever.. all praise RNGesus

There's no definite answer to that. When I got to that point I just kept using them and eventually an exotic dropped. The highest streak I went without getting one was probably 7 or so.

Yee did it 10 times, ended up with Light Beyond Nemesis. Happy with that. 14coins spent instead of 19 on the engram. I could buy another 5... but I think im good for this week. Even if they nerf it soon, whatevs.
