On this step it says "Use a shotgun in crucible to take out guardians and high level minions of darkness. Can somebody explain the minions of darkness please.

Edited by Ghoster: 7/14/2016 7:29:33 PMI have killed all sorts of majors(yellow bars) with my shot gun, and the only credit I got was for the kill majors bounty...the quest did not progress at all. Why they hell do they keep miswording in-game text like that ;p The worst is when they put an attribute on a gun that says increase magazine size but it doesn't do anything but waste your time when you select it...since last year, plenty of upset individuals have notified the games staff of this carelessness via forums ,but even as simple as it is to edit and correct invalid text online, they just don't seem to care. It's just not the same bungie that It was back in the halo days, not anymore anymore...shame. I think the best response so far was from the guy who said to use the universal remote in crucible, just ignore the "high-level minion"(which seems like an oxymoron, doesn't it?) for now.

there is no clear answer here yet. do we know what counts as "high level minions of the darkness" for this quest? i'm looking for something definitive, please

Any enemies that are in the darkness zones are minions of the darkness, not just majors.

If you get 3 kills with a shotgun you get the buckshot bruiser medal in crucible.

6 RepliesI thought I would stay out of the crucible to do this part since it said I could. I did 6 vip patrol kills and it went up....1 percent. That's it. I went into crucible with Universal Remote and it went up 34 percent. Within 3 matches I had that part completed. But this bounty is hilarious. Bungie wants us to move on from year weapons. Nerfed last word into the ground. And then requires you to use it. Ahh the hypocrisy of it all.
