Field Report of EXO Hunter Nemesis X-325. I was out patrolling the Lunar surface, when Ghost picked up an unusual transmission. The signal was heavily encrypted. Took a while for Ghost to make sense of it, but he pulled through. Slow bastard, there was this one time when I tried to break into the Hellmouth, and there were these runes... Sorry, off topic. Step One) Do patrol missions. I got the signal after doing a couple missions for the Tower. Maybe someone took notice. The Vanguard haven't recently. After a while, Ghost decoded half the signal. "?EE?INGS EX?R?SS?D" Some kind of riddle. I looked around. The answer was obvious, but I'd look like a fool...so I checked if anyone was watching. Then, I started dancing. Step Two) Emote. Alright, before think I'm insane, just listen. The answer to the riddle was, "Feelings Expressed." I figured, interpretive dance. In hindsight, I probably should've just waved. Ghost agrees, because someone saw me. Don't know who, but the signal updated. Again, heavily encrypted. Maybe the sender knew only Host could break it. Anyway, the signal read, E???IES ??F???ED. I thought it was, well... As a Hunter, I have a crude mind. No, it wasn't that. It decoded to "Enemies Defeated" Step Three) Defeat Enemies. Maybe the sender thought I was a Titan. Seems like their kind of thing. Didn't want to attract too much attention, so I snuck up on a old station near Archer's Line. It was out of the way and teeming with Fallen. None of them saw me. Got ether all over my mask's filter. Once finished the signal updated again. Someone was watching me work, and they knew how to hide. Ghost decrypted "?AT?R?AL G?T???E?" Didn't need Toland to decipher that one. Step Four) Gather Materials. If this stalker wants materials, he can go get it himself. But Ghost was curious, so I grabbed my knife an started cutting. Yes, I was totally cutting up my Ghost...the Helium Filaments, you idiot! Archer's Line is filled with them, a byproduct of some Golden-Age tech. Once I had finished with this creep's dry cleaning, Ghost managed to crack the signal. For the first time in a while, Ghost actually shut up. I know he's on to something, but he won't share. I tried to get the signal again, see if I can glean some more info, but so far no luck. Maybe one of the other Guardians will have better luck. I just want off this stupid Moon. Status Update) Received intel from guardians in the field on multiple planets. Apparently, multiple Ghosts have picked up a similar signal, albeit with slight variations.
