So I've been trying to download the 1.13 patch (I think I need this before downloading 2.0). The download goes fine but every time I try to install it afterwards it stops at 14% and says the data is corrupt. I think this isn't only a Destiny error and happens on other games too. Tried about 8 times now. Tried switching my DNS manually to 2 different settings and also tried shutting off the media server, still no go. Anyone had this problem or has a fix for it?
Thanks for any help.

2 Repliesif you got corrupted its because of a possible coding error with "most" people's currently installed destiny. whether its corrupted or not, if your getting an error code while trying to do this update, here's a "possible" solution that has worked for everyone I've talked to at least. delete destiny and reinstall it from your download list "in the PlayStation Store" and "DO NOT" load in background. 99% of the time if you try loading this in background, it freezes and doesn't budge from where it was. You must endure the reinstallation from the PlayStation Store. now that "should" take care of any error codes, alas you still will have to back out and go back into the update screen till you get a legit "time Remaining" but this is where you look at the glass half full and just shrug it off "if it works"...... again this is only a possible solution, im not guaranteeing it will work, but im also not saying it will have been a complete waste of time either. its not like you wouldn't have wasted the same amount of time by waiting around doing nothing, and getting more annoyed all the while.
