Entered code and said it worked, but it doesn't

Someone PM'ed me a RedBull code and it said it worked, I went on destiny and nothing was there. I looked at codes on my destiny profile and nothing was there either. I followed the Redbull code instructions as well. Does it come on a certain day or did I do something wrong maybe?

I have the smae issue today i bought a red bull with the specially marked destiny logo, i entered my code and i did not receive my focused light which has me confused
