for those critics, this picture was indeed my work. I used a screenshot as a reference photo, after I was done creating the image, this photo went through heavy photoshop for coloring changes, enhancing the lighting and darkening the shadows. Not only that but the outlines. I had a computer help me out with the outlines, because I wanted something to perfect the small mistakes I have made with the image itself. I wanted to go for a boardland feel to it and I just wanted to perfect that look. Although I'd did perfect those boarderland outlines, it did also leave behind those little marks in the background, which is understandable for other people to say that this photo was just a photoshop alone.
So yes, this my work.
But no, it wasn't all hand-made.
Furthermore, I have some older pieces that I've worked on in the past.

I can't believe some people seriously will say that these are fake too. Yea the cayde picture I get that, but apparently all of my work is fake? Yea right.
(I have this weird habit of saving my own snapchats. I found this on my old phone.)

BONUS: some people wanted a picture of cayde with Nathan Fillion's face on it.

BONUS 2: there is a guy on here trying to savage me out as much as he possibly can. All of my digital work apparently is "fake" to him. I've worked hard on some of these pictures that you saw up in my first edit. Here is some hard copy art work that I have done with a paper and pencil to try to defend my work as much as I can. These are not destiny related but they will do. (Sorry for camera filters this was off of my Instagram lol)

Some actual digital art with a "not so fake" look to it.

1 ReplyTo quote from Google:
Plagiarism is the "wrongful appropriation" and "stealing and publication" of another author's "language, thoughts, ideas, or expressions" and the representation of them as one's own original work.
This all applies to literature, music, videos and art. Though in the eyes of the law and with a decent lawyer one could say a certain percentage of manipulation could separate stealing and creating, this is not a original piece by any means. Your "gallery" is another key example of copy/paste click to filter disasters.

12 RepliesEdited by MAD X H0USE: 8/28/2015 7:56:32 PMI wasn't going to say anything, but seeing the way you're trying to defend this art of yours just triggered my instinct to protect my career as an artist. Being an experienced digital imagery editor, photoshop user, and traditional media artist I know a 'Shop job when I see one. I could have just skipped over this whole thread if you would have just been straight-up about your "work," but I have little tolerance for liars. The majority of the work in your Imgur gallery is literally just a combination of a Posterization or Stamp/Torn Edges filters overlaid by some Color adjustments topped with a noise overlay to add the grainy effect. The pixel Warlock is the only piece that appears original, but judging by the Jpeg artifacts in the pixels, I'd say you probably jacked the sprite from the "8-bit Guardians" video and added a few of your own blocks to finish it up. I've provided a piece I did myself, in less than five minutes, duplicating the exact effects you have on yours simply to prove to myself and others that you're being fraudulent about the process in which the piece was created. Again, I'd have let this go if you just called a 'shop a 'shop, but since you wanted to play games, I'm calling you out. For anyone interested in some quality 'Shops, I give you Auto-Rifle Nerf

5 RepliesYou forgot to use comic sans for your watermark. Git legit.

For the record, he never said he drew the art. Just photoshop filters. Even then, it's still classified as art and it looks good. Why all the hate?
-
I mean you photoshop-filtered the hell out of a screenshot, that doesn't mean it looks bad though.
-
1 ReplyLol photoshop filters be like^
-
5 RepliesLooks like you just took that image from one of the trailers and then put a filter over it.
-
6 RepliesDude, I'm cracking up that you signed the "artwork". Anybody can pop a picture into Photoshop and apply filters.
-
4 RepliesYou put some over lays and a few filters on a screen shot. It looks nice but I think your misrepresenting your work a little here.
-
9 RepliesHeavily filtered with a heavy color correction. I am a graphic designer and this isn't hand made.
