The stormcaller subclass is the least helpful out of the new three. Before I get hate from a lot of people let me list the reasons why I think this.
1) Stormcaller does less damage than hammer of sol
2) Stormcaller has less range than both of the new subclasses
3) Stormcaller is extremely slow (blinks getting nerfed)
4) Does not support any teammates well
5) Not a lot of synergy with the perks
6) Only good for add clearing and voidwalkers already do that
7) In PvE it's useless so this subclass is meant for the people who play PvP most of the time
8) It will not be good for damaging anything bigger than a red bar
9) super runs out faster than blade dancer and golden gun
What I'm trying to get at is that this subclass is made for the people who play PvP. I personally think PvE is much more fun so that being said this subclass is somewhat disappointing to me. There is no way that this class can compare to sunsinger or even voidwalker in PvE utility. I've been playing a warlock since day one and don't get me wrong sunsinger master race is very true but to much of a good thing can end up a bad thing. Just having something that would be good in PvE that can DPS well would be a lot of fun. Variety can make or break a game and personally I like to have options haha. Just to remind you guys this is my opinion and it is not meant to offend anyone. I'm looking to see what everyone else thinks about this subclass compared to the other two new ones coming out. Have a good day guys and let's hope for the best.

Hunters found a silver lining in Bladedancer with invisibility. Stormcallers will have to do the same. It's a shame Striker is pretty good in PvE. I wish Titans had to find a silver lining in their Super. "Fist of Havoc is really good for making long distance jumps." I guess at least Stormcaller will be good in PvP.

Nah they all look okay
rip nightstalker
What I could kinda see being an issue is the lack of orbs that the Sunbreaker titan seemingly produces though i could look past it since it actually effectively damages the enemies unlike that PoS arc blade!

The new subclass doesn't seem bad at all, but I'm sticking to Sunsinger.
-
I can only see me conducting lightning from one foe to another with the correct perks....
-
Do you even know what you are talking about?
-
2 RepliesYou say that it's made for PvP, but you make that sound like a bad thing. It looks like it will be the best PvP subclass. Especially with some of the perks.

Edited by Certified Idiot: 8/28/2015 5:18:39 AMI don't see it being too obsolete it has some good perks on its skill tree like for example the extended melee not like they already have a far enough melee
-
Uh oh class retard alert *bell rings* retard alert
-
1 ReplyHammer of Sol is a STD. Single target damage. It does more damage, but only to a single enemy. The super is better for fighting groups of enemies, like how it was used earlier in the strike boss to wipe out all the psion.
-
2 RepliesTitan bubble is the most helpful yet no one uses it
-
Hm . Please dont cryy ....
-
Wow. You completly missed him destroying the adds from quite the distance during the strike. Whoa. Specific class fanboy. Alrightt.
-
7 RepliesThe super looked pretty good in PvP, not to mention that your melee can hit from farther away. And it has lightning grenades.
-
My guess is that the storm caller will: A) be centered around crowd control concerning small fry(imagine that with an arc burn aksor) B) its "blink" skill may function differently from normal blink, therefore being unaffected by the so called "nerf"

10 RepliesYou haven't even played it and you are already bitching about it?
-
Try using a Bladedancer super in PvE and tell me its more useful than Stormcaller...Arc Blade barely can take out a few Thrall...and that's ONE AT A TIME if just using the slashing...
-
Still mire useful than bladancer
-
2 RepliesHere is why I disagree 1. It has both pulse and lightning grenades from the striker 2.it has both perks from purifier robes and a perk that regens your health if your grenade and melee are charged and you use your super 3. What it lacks in utility it makes up for in damage output. Some perks allow lightning to be chained even more
-
6 RepliesStill more useful than blade dancer and gunslinger in pve. Warlocks are complaining because both of their current subclasses are useful in both pvp and pve
-
Bless your heart.
-
1 Reply"Only good for add clearing" That's literally one of the most important things in some strikes and raids
-
All the classes look pretty bud. This one excites me most because it's electric ity coming out his hands

1 ReplyIs this guy stupid?

The perks do merge together well. It's better than nova bomb because A. It chains, B.itlssts longer and, as seen in the stream AND dattos gameplay it clears ads, and C. U can upgrade the chaining abilities. Plus an above average ranged melee that u can make hit EVEN FURTHER. And going back to perk synergy, review skill tree m8.
-
Any super that hits multiple targets with minimal aiming required blows everything out of the water. Plus that distance and chain arc
-
"Not a lot of synergy withe the perks" Meele hit charges super and melee energy Grenade kills charge meele.meele kills charge grenade. Incoming meele fully recharges thunderstrike and intnsifies it. When cast with full meele and grenade energy super lasts longer.. Damn what the -blam!- are you smoking?
