I had to xur my first exotic weapon, the last word.....and my second....and my third.....and my fourth.

3 RepliesAh man. The first exotic drop is always the best. Mine was Ice Breaker, back in week two or three of the game. I had been extremely disappointed because two legendary engrams I had turned it went straight to blues. But I noticed I had ranked up my cryptarch, and he dropped me two legendary special weapon engrams. One turned into another crap blue and I got discouraged, but the second one turned into Ice Breaker. Now, that was before everyone had an Ice Breaker, so all my friends were suuuuper jealous. A sniper rifle with regenerating ammo? Badass! To this day I have not let go of that Ice Breaker. I've gotten others but that one that dropped is still the one I use today.

My son, just turned lvl 24, got his first purple orb on patrol and got so excited. Took it to the Cryptarch, and lo and behold it rolled in to a Hard light. He was sooooo excited.
