They didn't put radiant mats in the vault, They won't do this either. I've seen 4 drop in 4 straight nightfalls, receiving one myself. And you get it guaranteed from 2 sources already.

It's stand alone. VOG has materials for all standard weapons and armor same as etheric light. It wouldn't be a big stretch for them to change their stance now. How would you make the raids relevant again?

With your suggestions. I'm for them personally, I'm just saying Bungie won't be changing that. I think it should be done like trials, you get a card and if you complete 3 hard raids you can turn in your card for an etheric light. That would definitely give a new worth to the raids and add increased difficulty, give VOG 32 and crota 34.

I could support that too. Bungie has the metadata so they better know it's availability currently in the game so they can tweak what they need to to keep it rare, but it definitely needs a chance. A game this content Shallow where so many are giving up on HOW end game the raids need to stay relevant

I've still got zero Etheric light since HoW dropped. I've inly seen it drop twice for teammates in Nightfalls, and I play a lot of extra Nightfalls helping friends and clan out. I haven't had long enough in one sitting to try 34
