Please don't forget the unused mission slots which I have only used one of; once for the queens event and the same one for IB reputation coins. How about repurposing two of them for extra bounty slots. And then using another two for exotic bounties. Sorry to jump into your post but it seemed to fit with your argument, which I totally agree with.

Yer it has been well documented. This game was going to have massive content. Activision have made BUNGIE carve up the game and put the content into DLC,s. That is why so much of the story and content does not add up to a common theme. The original ghost slots were supposed to be the development of the ghost as you went through the story,"the nine steps of the ghost" but this was omitted when the new destiny roadmap was developed. Don't be surprised if light level is removed to your ghost and to gain higher light level,you need to upgrade your ghost. Best of luck.

That Intrusion shell is so glorious... I had the idea a while back to have raid-themed Ghost shells drop from hard mode Raids, in addition to sparrows and ships. The Ghost would have Hive shell on it and a green eye, Vex metal and a solid red eye, gold and glowing light blue eye for the Fallen and heavy metal and a Psion eye ring for the Cabal, each dropping for a different enemy Raid.

I think there should be plenty of different shells for players to choose from. Honestly, look at all the armor shaders, emblems, sparrows, ships. However, most players only have access to one ghost.After all, your ghost is basically your only real partner and should be highly customizable.
