I vote destiny, i personally hate everything about call of duty and even though destiny is missing alot it still takes dumps on CoD

Bungie may fall short in some things, but I find myself enjoying the gameplay of Destiny a lot (like, just shooting things, throwing grenades and what not), the last CoD game I played that I considered any good was MW2, every other one I've played has been so boring.

Whoever voted cod die
-
I used to love cod and be really "good" but then I played battlefield and my life was much better.
-
Im talking more core mechanics obviously the games have differing aspects but at the end kf the day they are both FPS games at heart and destiny wins at being a FPS.
-
Destiny is activision's cheap attempt to make money since their COD cash cow is slowly dying and they have now lost money on what? Two games all ready?
-
Given the behavior of COD players on these forums and in the game, I am inclined to think that only juvenile assholes play COD

Edited by TacOBruiseR: 3/18/2015 2:11:25 AMConnections on COD multiplayer are better. Not a bunch better, but better none the less. CODs story is way better. Every single one of them. I will say the teabagging is better on Destiny though.

Campaign is good on destiny, unlike CoD Multiplayer is good on CoD, unlike destiny

4 RepliesI disagree. I think they are far too different to be compared so simply. For example, Call of Duty has always has extremely fluid movement. Destiny's feels less polished. It's also not about which is better or worse. It's what you prefer. Destiny isn't better than Call of Duty, and Call of Duty isn't better than Destiny. One is a shared-world shooter with popular MMO-esque aspects (loot rewards, raiding and in-game currencies), while the other is a raw FPS. If you want to compare games, at least compare games that are actually similar. Call of Duty isn't bad. You may not like it or anything, but it's only as successful as it is because people like it. Call of Duty isn't competing with Destiny. Call of Duty competes with FPS games like Battlefield. The notion that Destiny's Crucible is better than Call of Duty's online multiplayer is silly. They're quite incomparable. If I had to choose based on similarities, I would have to choose Call of Duty. Destiny's Crucible is ridiculously unfair. Not because it lacks balance (though it clearly does), but because supers, special abilities and the matchmaking make it unfair. Call of Duty's matchmaking attempts to place you in lobbies with people of similar skill (note: I am aware that it's not perfect). Call of Duty also allows for near perfect counter play.
