This is ridiculous, ive had an xbox one for less then 6 months and play Destiny regularly. But the issue that arose quite recently is this stupid stick drift. I cant even delete a engram without my cursor going all over my screen. The right stick is fine, but the left stick is messed up. It looks normal, like it sits at neutral, but the cursor/character move up/forward without me even touching the stick. I doubt there is a fix, but if someone knows of one let me know!. I also dont want to have to buy another one. I was also just thinking of getting a custom Scuf controller so i wouldnt have to keep buying more. But it is like $230.

2 RepliesEdited by LegendaryKnight: 3/3/2015 2:06:13 AMIt's your controller. I had a similar problem with my ps4 controller where it would move very slowly sometimes with the right stick. I opened up my controller, pulled both of the thumbsticks out, cleaned the inside with the air spray(you can also blow into it) calibrated both of the naked sticks by rotating counter clockwise many times, switched the right thumbstick with the left, pushed them in all the way down with a bit of force, closed it up and it works like new. I'd give this a try and if this doesn't fix it, then you'll at least find out the cause and the worst that can happen is you having to buy another controller.

Its the controller. My brother has the same problem. He would put the controller down and then end up walking off a cliff. So its the controller.

1 ReplyAhhh I see the problem. Its a simple fix and I dont know why you didnt think of this in the first place but its ok lol. Here's how you fix it: take your controller, throw it away along with the console, get a playstation

Hey NiceArtifact, Apologies for the issue you are encountering. Does this issue occur in any other game, or on the Xbox dashboard?

4 RepliesWhen you use a controller heavily, the sticks can get slightly stuck. It's the controller not the game. If you pull up gently on the left stick and rotate it around it helps a little.
