Felwinter's Lie - Luck in the Chamber vs Final Round

Which is better? They both give a 33% dmg boost but I feel like FR is easier to abuse. My current version is Arc damage (was hoping for Void) and has field choke, final round, hammer forged and shot package. I'm leery about re-rolling it.

  • Your not gonna need final round or luck in the chamber "technically." and it really comes down to your play style. If you die, the game auto refill your...rounds? so luck in the chamber is for you. If you have the skill to go on streaks, run around with 1 round and exploit final round. Your pretty well doomed if your encounter 2. People but you'll destroy all 1v1 engagements

  • PvP both are useless IMO. PvE luck in the chamber.

    Mate, neither matter haha! I've just took it for a spin in crucible and it destroys everything! I've never used a shotgun in crucible before but I just won on the anomaly in rumble and I always get rekked on that map by shotgun aficionados! Dunno if you have the same perks as me, it's on my warlock. Edit: we have the same perks -do not- reroll it

    Luck in the Chamber IMO. Tried getting my idea of a perfect roll for this gun buuuuut it ain't happening. Spent a crap ton of motes of light to. :(

      • Correct me if I'm wrong but aren't they both rather useless on a shotgun like this? With that impact and within its effective range it's a one shot weapon regardless of the last round or luck in the chamber. I may be wrong so please enlighten me if so

        • Last round is the way to go. Empty the clip then reload one round at a time (then cancel the reload animation). Every shot will get the damage boost.

          LitC > FR Reason being that one round [b][i]could be[/i] [/b]round 1 through 6. The FR is[b] only[/b] the last round. For perspective I rolled LitC, Hammer Forged, and Full Auto.

        • I would say luck in the chamber because you need to be in the habit of using it without relying on that OP last shot. When the shot comes randomly it's just a bonus for you while you're playing.

        • I have the exact same roll as you aside from mine is void. I wanted luck in the chamber but was running low on motes so i had to stick with final round. Either way i never need luck or final round. That gun is such a monster with the shotpackage/hammer forged combo that it doesn't matter whatsoever. Since i've started using it in iron banner i've received 9 hate mails. That to me means that the gun is doing it's job right.

        • Well on Shotgun its just too risky to run around with 1 bullet left to get 33% damage buff. Luck in the Chamber>Final Round on Shotguns!
