To the people trash talking the kid who got trolled
I don't care if this gets me banned from these forums.
You are all a bunch of cold heartless assholes. That kid worked hard and busted his ass to gt here he was on 3 different character classes, and for you people to say he got what he deserved, is not only heartless but just cruel of you assholes. He is 11 years old and not a single person can ever say that you didn't do stupid things at that age.
Was he wrong for what he thought was going to happen? Yes he was, and I would never say anything different.
Yet not a single person here has not tried to cheese something at some time or another. Pushing the templar, going to the sniper platform during the templar fight, pushing Atheon, lamp cheese, bridge cheese, crota cheese, all the cheese spots in the strikes. Everyone has cheesed something in this game at some point or another.
Did he deserve to have almost everything on his account for doing it? Hell NO he didn't what that person did was beyond being a troll, he was just a straight up dick. Never should anyone ever pull the kind of shit that he did to that kid.
The fact that so many people are perfectly fine with what happened and laugh about it and go around posting thread saying"plus x amount of tear collected" because it didn't happen to them as just as much a dick as the guy who did it.
Aging I don't give a rats ass if I get banned for this thread or if it gets removed by the ninja, because my message will have been read before they can do anything about it.
EDIT: To everyone who is against this kind of treatment I thank you.
For those who don't know the persons name was KirmitTHEfrog from Guardians Of The Galaxy clan, who deleted the kids stuff and it was not the first time he has done it. He is one PSN and XBL, so everyone needs to watch out for him.
EDIT: If Bungie does nothing about this then all they are doing is telling everyone that they are okay with what happened and will allow it to keep happening. I hope that's not how Bungie feels about what happened.

26 RepliesI grabbed a bag of popcorn to watch video and laughed my ass off. The fine print warned the kid and insisted on ignoring it. I don't feel bad at all because he is not a victim but an idiot. He tried to glitch the game but karma got to him first :) have a nice day!

HE SAID IN THE VIDEO HE GLITCHED HIS CHARACTERS TO 20!!!! HE IS A CHEATER SO STFU. Lets say the Kermit thing never happened but someone turned in his twich video where it shows him telling everyone he glitched he would have his characters wiped for breaching the TOS. The kermit guy did Bungies work for them.

First and foremost, the reason rules are in place is because there should be no exceptions. Second, Bungie is not responsible for shareplay. That is Sony's deal. The bleeding heart bull shit is a bit much. I can sympathize with the kid. I really can, but he made a choice, ignorance is no excuse. Bungie has no obligation to the kid, and it is in their best interest to ignore it. If they did anything, you would see every tom, dick and harry looking for similar treatment. The kid -blam!-ed up, he got his just deserts. If it happened to me, Id have no choice but to accept it and move on. I guess Im not a kid though.

No it doesn't mean they are ok with it happening. However, they have said in the past that they don't restore lost or deleted characters and there are people on here who lost items due to glitches and haven't gotten them back. Also there is a difference between using a game mechanic and pushing a boss off the edge and having someone hack the game to get you to a higher level. Do I feel bad for what happened to the kid yes I do but I also do not think he should get his items back since he was trying to cheat and he is actually lucky that Sony and/or bungie did not ban him since he had intention to violate their terms and conditions.

4 RepliesI still don't understand why people are comparing a raid cheese to glitching your characters to higher levels. While the latter wasn't going to happen, the kid still wanted it to and was willing to let a stranger take control of his PS4 so that he could do so. That in itself is just stupid. Good thing he learned that lesson the way he did before he gave his parents credit card details to some stranger who said he would make him thousands of dollars in a few days.

8 RepliesWhen i was a 11 yo kid, i had a ton of time to go outside and play or waste hours on my old school nintendo (playing terminator). As an adult, i only have two or three hours to spend my time playing destiny. Short long story, yes the kid got trolled by an asshole but this happen becouse this kid didnt want to loose any more of his time earning stuff the correct way. What i see here is: spoiled kid wanted to get good stuff fast and easy (cheating), the troll easily identify the spoiled brat and took advantage of him and thought he was doing the right thing.., teaching a lesson. Common flame me if you want.., like i care.

Yes many if not all of us have "cheesed" something at some point, but not given our account to someone else to get it done.
