Sadly for a truly great auto rifle you need to go exotic. Suros, Monte Carlo, and hard light are all excellent. Up for anything and abyss defiant are good but not stellar.

Edited by VoodooN88: 2/18/2015 1:08:49 AMI lvled up a few to test them out for replacing the shadow. The closest I got was the Vanquisher, it doesn't quite have the reach though. I swap between them as needed. I dismantled all but the SOS which I gave to my hunter as a stand by incase I needed a faster sustained rof over the hand cannon. As I just got the Suros yesterday still not lvld up, and I don't have hard light yet.

I don't know I wish I had the best. On gotta do gooder v

Hard light its truly a god in PvP

Suros, because reasons.

1 ReplyHusk of the pit hands down best AR for PvP and PvE
-
3 RepliesVanquisher with the right roll (my warlock has a pretty good one) is the last of a dying breed it being one of the last few high impact auto rifles. I feel like bungie has been trying to make the player base trickle away from auto rifles since the first nerf was handed out.

Khvostov for PvP is fun

5 RepliesMy picks: Exotic: Suros... Just because it's still awesome. Every nerf they keep doing to kill weapons and it still is viable but I think Bungie will ultimately destroy this one too. One thing you can count on Bungie for is to ruin fun and useful weapons unless you're a PvP cry baby who wants to nerf anything you can't defeat or don't have. Legendary: Payback SOS - have oversized bullets, over penetrate, active radar, field scout perks. Wish I had firefly too. I like the balance it has in full auto and the scope for head shots and pulse rifle like firing makes it versatile for me. In any case, we will see if Bungie will continue to ruin weapons going forward. I swear they find things we all like or find useful and crush those things as much as possible. I can see it now, so many of us who got No Land Beyond either salvaged it immediately or have it stored in the vault for nostalgia. Next weapon change will nerf the crap out of all primary's and buff the primary sniper gun because no one uses it. Can anyone else name a game that continued to make bad decisions and changes one after another from the start and going strong 5 months in with no change in direction? Seems like Bungie is intentionally trying to make Destiny be the biggest triple A game failure of all time.

suros and vanquisher

Monte Carlo. Just my opinion. Finished a game with 43 kills with it. Most kills for me yet. Also 52 rounds I think and alright stability, nice impact and that melee recharge is always good.
-
1 ReplyI heard vanquisher is great, but I got a pretty crappy roll on mine :/
-
Im a hand cannon kind of guy, but if i had to choose, I'd go with Vanquisher. Stay gold, Ponyboy
-
GRIM CITIZEN III use it way more than my Suros Regime.

1 ReplyEdited by TitanX: 2/17/2015 11:57:31 PMHow do people feel about Abyss Defiant in PvP? I don't use Suros very much but I tried both Suros and Abyss the other day in crucible and I kinda felt like I liked Abyss more.

Suros and vanquisher
-
Suros just cuz or mythoclast since it might as well be an auto rifle
-
1 ReplySuros is still king. If hard light had just 5% more impact it'd be my number one. Vanquisher is beast mode as well.

Dapper Gentleman

4 RepliesI cant really say because I don't have very many... but, "Up for Anything" is an amazing auto rifle.

I main with Abyss Defiant, Pocket Infinity, and Hunger of Crota in Crucible
