Will destiny die if the dlc does not come out soon?
Yup it will die, all the new things on the DLC are done, every boss killed, every story mission completed. If the DLC does not come out soon the people that are going to buy the next DLC will be less than half people wil quit destiny and people wont be playing destiny until the DLC só please bring US the DLC at march

Even if it did die, it was still ridiculously fun for a long ass time. Look at gameplay times. People have hundreds or over a thousand hours in Destiny. Even if people quit, Destiny has so many hours put into it, that it doesn't matter. Bungie looks at the profiles and sees success.

The real reason for DLC is to give you a reason to keep playing. It's kinda like riding a horse and making it run while dangling an apple in from of it. It's the same concept except the community is the horse. Bungie does not care about content in the DLC. It serves to keep you playing. It's a brilliant snare.

It's gonna die even with the dlc. I mean seriously you expect it not to be so riddled with bugs that it's practically unplayable hell I'm not even buying Crotas end I'm not giving these guys money for nothing people complain on here about people doing nothing in strikes and still getting rewards that kind of seems ironic to me it's exactly what bungie did made a bad game that was barely an hour long and then chucked it out there and got all the money they needed haha well sucks to be you guys because no piss tastes good in your mouth even the piss of the allmighty destiny

For me the thing that has the most chance of stopping me coming back is the constant blanket nerfs due to pvp. I only play pve and am tired of having all my guns nerfed due to a game mode I never play (pvp). It sucks.

1 commentaireSome of the casuals may leave , some will come back , some won't . But those of us that love it will continue to play. People seem to forget that even though some people are disappointed at certain aspects of the game, ALOT OF PEOPLE LOVE this game. Do people not realize just how many people are playing the hell out of this game?! There is no shortage , and it is extremely successful in that such a massive amount of people log in at any given time. If even half the player base were to drop off (which it will certainly not) it'd still be one of the most played games regardless. Destiny IS NOT going anywhere. Yeah , I certainly hope some specifics will be ironed out , but it's young, it WILL mature, and I am one of the ones that will still be Hunting when the Tower burns and the Traveler is explained, when the Speaker shows his cards hidden up his sleeve , when the Cryptarch dies a gruesome death (prediction , & a safe bet) and my bro ~ "B" Robot finally is liberated from his corner by the ship hangar and puts his broom down and picks up an auto rifle. (Hoping they will let him take one you choose to hand him, maybe to shoot the Cryptarch.) So , no , it'll all still be here when the casuals decide to either get or not get D2. Thank ya'...

1 commentaireBig games like Destiny don't die explosively, suddenly, they bleed to death slowly as people eventually reach their own personal "no longer fun" limit. Sometimes the trickle gushes when a new contender takes a bite out of the behemoth but generally there will always be a player base of some size that slowly shrinks. If HoW is a repeat of TDB then yeah they are going to lose a very large chunk of players but they'll still retain plenty.

House of wolves is possibly their last chance to save the game, as many pre-order folk use the "I already paid for the dlc, so I might as well keep playing till it drops" excuse. This gives destiny an ultimatum. If it rushes out and sucks, then the game will absolutely die, and quickly too. If they take their time to dish out excellent, well-rounded content that breathes life into the game, then destiny will live much longer. I personally prefer the second outcome.

Possible, if everyone or experience players which is most of us that grind Crota, and VOG there really isn't much of anything left to do other than play with your buddies. I find my self found dooms less and less activities simply because there isn't anything left to do.

It won't die but will have to be put in a medically induced coma. Bungie does have some arsenal up their sleeve. In about a month the amount of players will continue to drop. Xur will magically sell the ghallajhorn. People will come back to buy a couple and level up. This will hold some people over until mid March. They will drop another iron banner. Some people will complain about whats the point when the weapons suck this time around. House of wolves drops. People glitch the raid. People get to level 34 within two weeks. People will complain. People will leave and come back when comet drops. People will come into the forums and complain that there isn't enough content after playing none stop for a week straight.

im starting to not give Destiny a time (by not playing daily) because I still havent got the fatebringer.. PLUUUUUSSS the nerfing of the AR's, HC's and SR's.. this is getting annoying and frustrating.. i still dont know if im gonna buy the HOW..
