.....THEN JUST STAND IN -blam!-ING PLACE AFK? Seriously what is this bullshit? No one wants to carry your sorry ass. Just playedc 5 ROC strikes and of those 5 there was someone standing AFK in 3 of them on spawn for the entire goddamn run. I can understand a few mins if you need to get a drink or the phone rang but not the entire -blam!-ing strike.
Is this what lazy pieces of shit do to try and farm Vanguard marks?
If you're gonna be gone more than 5 goddamn minutes GO THE -blam!- BACK TO ORBIT!!! Seriously it takes 3 seconds to go back to orbit. No one wants you standing at the spawn AFK for the entire run and just make things slower for the other 2 that want to run it. /rant

2 commentairesHow do they even know to join you if they don't know you? If they just randomly watch a player and then guess who to join and who not to join, that's basically a form of predatory stalking being that the whole intent is to hide and go AFK for free shit. That's psychopathic behavior and these scumbags need to be banned

I started a strike then immediately went to pee, come back to the beginning of omniful strike sat down and they must have thought I went afk cause I see the guy flying at me with his sparrow he gets close I jump he flys off the side into the water I waved and followed the other guy into the mission I thought it was pretty funny, and I hope he did to.

If you report they are AFK it starts a timer until they do something. If still afk the game boots them to orbit. You can actually report people for being "unhelpful" and "inactivity" or even "obscene language" or something like that. Works every time for me.
-
Haha the other day I had someone do that on the Omnigal strike. We sat there and shot him, punched him, everything. I even shoved him off the rock I'm the water. Still nothing from him! So I went down got on my sparrow and pushed him out of the zone as soon as he hit that spot he jumped up and went back to the top I laughed so hard. Then he went back to orbit. It was a great time.

42 commentairesWhenever I see an afk'er, I turn off the part of my brain that wants to play Destiny and immediately activate the TROLLING CONSEQUENCE subroutine. I'll spend as much time as I possible can (sometimes 20, 30 minutes) killing them and reviving until they notice. I was once able to push a guy into enemy fire and hide around a corner reviving him against Valus. I revived him 117 times. :)

I joined my first ever Roc strike yesterday, and I stayed for three strikes. Each one had an AFKer in it. So, I casually jumped on my Sparrow - made sure that they got killed, and then I continued on with the mission.
-
Then just leave. Simple as that.
-
So they can get exotics
-
Always report them with luck they will be punished.

3 commentairesPeople keep leaveing the strike immediately after it Starts it's really annoying. Honestly, If you not going to play don't join. Please don't waste the little time I have to play as it is.
-
One thing they should do it to make it so you go to orbit after each strike instead of going to the next strike immediately.
-
It is what it is, frankly what they don't kill I do. Besides I can move quick enough through a strike, I drag their sorry butts kicking and screaming to the boss when I intentionally let myself get killed. Then they have to play or forever be ensnared in the game that is Dark Souls with guns.

7 commentairesPeople that watch tv in roc strikes are the smart ones. Who has time to waste farming for blue engrams? Running 3x Nightfall/weekly/raid is time consuming enough
-
I seem to be the only person who this has never been a problem for. Maybe I'm just not paying attention to the other players enough, but I've been playing since release and can think of only one instance when I saw someone go afk right at the spawn. I just sort of chuckled and thought "oh is this where I'm supposed to get all pissy". Didn't bother me in the slightest. Didn't really even notice the other guy was missing really.
-
2 commentairesI could care less if you afk. I wish you could run roc strikes solo by choice. If you wanna run with me fine. If not I'll beat the strike anyways just takes a few more min.
-
Leave or deal with it. This happens so infrequently that when it does, I don't mind 2-manning or soloing the strike just for the added challenge. If you're 30-32, ROC is not even challenging anymore. Sometimes you have to throw the old NLB on and challenge yourself.
-
It sucks but whenever I start a strike, I observe my teammates behavior, if they just stand still for more than 2 minutes I just leave, most of the time when it's a strike nobody likes there will be at least 1 person leaving, I don't stay for those strikes either, so annoying doing Undying mind with only two and the other one is a clueless blueberry.
-
I've never had anyone go afk but if they did there's no way I'd finish the strike.
-
I think if they haven't moved in 3 min you and your team mate should have the option to boot
-
What pisses me off even more is when they spawn and then start running in circles and killing enemies. They just farm the whole time!
-
2 commentairesWhat morons just AFK in ROC strikes? It makes much more sense to run off into the patrol area to finish bounties, participate in public events, collect materials and farm engrams while the other 2 guys finish the strike. Most economical use of time in the game. Just standing there is dumb.
-
I have gone afk once and I tried my hardest to get back billy they beat the boss first... I've also had a guy on the sepiks prime strike run around in the arm tarting area
