Fatebringer is not better than Word of Crota.
It's time to stop hanging onto the past. It's 2015 now, not 2014.

2 commentairesLol can you please explain how your test on VOG hard came to be? Enemies on hard VOG are level 30 which means a 300 attack weapon will deal 100% base damage against them. A 331 attack will also deal 100% base damage against them. That extra 31 attack power doesn't make a difference until you start hitting enemies level 31 or over. That being said I personally know that the fate bringer does 1505 damage with a critical shot on a goblin while the word of Crota does 1375 I believe (not sure of the exact damage but I know it's in the 1300 range). You probably had explosive rounds on your fate bringer when you were doing that test since they reduce your precision damage by a good amount.

I know for a fact that the fatebringer maxes out at 1004 crit damage on goblins. But, I have a 331 scout rifle with the exact fatebringer perks haha so I'm good

Word of crota for hard raid because the hive disruptor is nice to have but fatebringer in any other pve situation because of outlaw and firefly

The firefly on the FB also caused the other acolytes nearby to die or take a lot of damage. I like both but wish the WoC had the same impact as the FB. Things would be different then. [spoiler]I'll definitely be using the WoC on void burn runs! [/spoiler]

1 commentaireI actually got my first Fatebringer the first week after the Templar patch. I proceeded to have gotten 7 since then. I love Fatebringer but I like my word of crota better for big targets

Love when people try their best to like a weapon that just isn't that great. It's like trying to like nechrochasm. Fatebringer is still the bees knees. 2014 wasn't that long ago hombre.

Ya you didn't hit critical with fatebringer than, it does 1505 to goblins in vog hm. On another note the whole #masterhandcannon is getting rediculous. Use what you like I love my fatebringer and will be using it for quite sometime. I like outlaw alot :)

3 commentairesYou must be using explosive rounds when hitting 700 crits. It's already been thoroughly tested and Fatebringer does a wopping 10 damage less than Word of Crota when both are fully maxed (I.e. WOC hits 1510 whereas fatebringer hits 1500). Word of Crota is a great Hand Cannon, but it still falls short of Fatebringer and any Hand cannons with similar base stats (Hawkmoon, red hand IX, Venetian iii). The high fire rate and low impact is just not appealing for a hand cannon of all things. I will happily use WoC for void burns but that's it. I'll stick to my red hand/ fatebringer.

against hive yes word is going to be better because of hive disrupter what about the other enemies and bosses it will do about the same with its decreased impact

It really depends. Against tougher targets the clear option is WoC. But masses of enemies I prefer Fatebringer. The firefly perk being my main reason. Also, no everone who has Fatebringer cheeses and cheesed Templar. I got my Fatebringer legit, I'll have you know. The 31 damage difference is just something you use to try and prove your point. As are many statements in your post. Of which many are pulled out of your ass but I digress. One word for their contest is opinion
