Destiny feels like a long beta and it is far too limiting for me to play any longer, here is a list.
1.) There is no way to play private matches with friends or someone you want to challenge, you can only play against random people
2.) There is no skill rank or states that are viewable in the game, even the Bungie website/app doesn't display states correctly
3.) The game is too random. It doesn't matter how good you are, you will most likely get nothing good and there is no way to work towards good gear or weapons.
4.) The game glitches a lot
5.) You can't trade weapons or gear or sell to one another.
6.) There is a limit on how much currency you can get a week and an overall cap (this was not a good idea)
7.) An enemy at any level can hurt and even kill you but if you are a lower level they are literally invincible (Doesn't even make since, what am I getting more gear for if it doesn't count?...not for PvP, there is no rank or states to show for it)
8.) The game is nothing compared to what they said it was going to be, why cant we explore the lost cities on earth, why cant we roam through the last safe city, why couldn't it be the first real FPS MMO where hundreds of people can roam the planets at the same time
If the game was how it was supposed to be I would be addicted to it, but the game is so underwhelming and unsatisfying that it tricks you into being happy when you finally get the weapon or gear you want in a loot drop.
Edit: Agree/Disagree

There is no skill rank or states that are viewable in the game, even the Bungie website/app doesn't display states correctly
What? You want to know what state people are from?
3.) The game is too random. It doesn't matter how good you are, you will most likely get nothing good and there is no way to work towards good gear or weapons.
This is just bullshit
4.) The game glitches a lot
True
5.) You can't trade weapons or gear or sell to one another.
I think this is the stupidest -blam!-ing thing that I hear people bitch about. It just means that you want the stuff, but do not want to play to get it. This will be the only change they can make, which will cause me to quit.
6.) There is a limit on how much currency you can get a week and an overall cap (this was not a good idea)
I don't really care about this, one way or another. Most of all the currencies are just useless. Who cares how much of each you can horde?
7.) An enemy at any level can hurt and even kill you but if you are a lower level they are literally invincible (Doesn't even make since, what am I getting more gear for if it doesn't count?...not for PvP, there is no rank or states to show for it)
It would make no "sense" if a level 28 could easily go kill a level 30, but believe me, it isn't impossible. Done it many times. The argument that getting better gear doesn't help, well that is just more bullshit. Better gear helps
8.) The game is nothing compared to what they said it was going to be, why cant we explore the lost cities on earth, why cant we roam through the last safe city, why couldn't it be the first real FPS MMO where hundreds of people can roam the planets at the same time
Not exactly what most people built up in their mind, but what game usually lives up to expectation? Not many! It's still a great game. At least it is not watch dogs or some other shit game
If the game was how it was supposed to be I would be addicted to it, but the game is so underwhelming and unsatisfying that it tricks you into being happy when you finally get the weapon or gear you want in a loot drop. Edit: Give me reasons on why I should not sell it.
I don't get when people come on the forums to threaten leaving. Why? You think Bungie or Activision care? You think anyone who enjoys the game, cares? I hope not. That would just make these people delusional narcissists. If you want to trade the game for pennies on the dollar, go for it. It will just give someone else the opportunity to play. Maybe they won't expect a developer to meet some overblown expectation

14 commentairesModifié par tgpumpkin : 1/18/2015 7:19:26 PMI bought $50 worth of groceries today. Should I have done it? I figured I'd buy some turkey, bacon, and 18 grain bread and make some Turkey Bacon swiss sandwiches for the NFL playoff games today. Thought it would be fun. I got myself some cranberry juice because it was on sale... 2 for 5. I got 4. Yeah...a little much but ya know what...who doesn't like Cran Apple and I've never had Cran-Pomegranate before. Got some eggs....chips of course for my sandwiches...even some dip too. I feel pretty good about my purchase but wanted to see what you guys thought anyway for no particular reason. EDIT: Thanks for the comments guys! Since my post I decided I just want to know what you think about my list (which is why I'm including this edit) and to see if you agree rather than you trying to convince me if I should return my turkey. I don't think I will actually return my turkey at this point...but do you agree or disagree with my grocery purchase? I appreciate the feedback thus far!

The raid like I hate looking for people to play the raid with me and all they do is either they leave the game or they be calling each other names and all that crazy stuff like I have friends but they don't always be there so yeah.

3 commentairesIf you want to 1v1 someone: Go to raid launch screen. Invite 4 friends and the person you want to fight. Tell them what is going to happen. Load rumble. Make friends leave so you can 1v1 your opponent. Enjoy.
-
Have you done a raid yet?
-
I have a digital copy that I removed I'm just waiting for a game changer to happen if nothing happens by the time gears of war or fallout release I'm done with it

You should sell it.

1 commentaireI'd say good riddance, but you'll probably be one of those who stalk the forums after you "sell" the game anyway...

-
Thanks, but I already have Destiny. Maybe trade it in at Gamestop?

5 commentairesYes, clearly not addicted to it... as your 400 game hours will attest to... (Seriously, ask yourself this question. How many other games have you ever played for 400 hours until you realized you were bored?) You do understand that your console can play more than one game at a time right? Take a break and play something else then come back in a few weeks. If it feels fresh and you enjoy running with your friends again, then cool, just take it casual and don't burn out again. Give them time to add new content. If it hasn't improved to the liking of your personal taste by march when HoW DLC comes out and you don't think it is worth the investment, then get rid of it. However, when you come back after those few weeks and it feels boring and like you are forcing yourself to play just to complete things, then move on and find a new game(s) you can enjoy. If you really feel like giving them another chance in the future, you can always check out Destiny 2. Note: I decided since some of your listed reasons are understandable limitations and you weren't just swearing and blatantly bashing Destiny that there was a chance you weren't just trolling, so decided to give you an actual serious response.

Um, nobody cares?
-
You want US to tell YOU why you shouldn't sell Destiny? ... I think you, in particular, should sell it as quickly as possible or throw it away.
-
2 commentairesPlease gtfo then keep your negativity off the forums sell it and go buy cod

That edit sounds like you're an attention whore.

You have like 11 days played across 2 characters. I'm pretty sure you were addicted to it and got your money's worth.
