I spent two hours on crota for this
After 2-3 hours of trying to get through the various glitches (crota staying standing when his shield was gone, not taking damage, killing people across the map, boomers coming back to life, oversouls not taking damage,etc.,etc.,etc) we finally kill him. Will I get the helmet? Perhaps the ship or fusion rifle? Some shards would be nice too. NO! I got two energies. TWO! what kind of reward is that?! At least atheon gives at least 3. Two hours wasted for what I could have gotten by switching characters and taking a chest. I call bullshit.
Edit 1: I want to make it clear that we weren't cheesing
Edit 2: yes I know get good, im a scrub, 3 hours? You suck! Indeed I do but the point remains

I found my 3rd -blam!-ing fusion rifle today. I have no heavies or black hammer. Feels like I'm being punished.

Me and my clan did it for fun the normal way after the patch and its not hard at all. You just have to know what to do.

Try getting the weasel error over and over and over... it's not my connection... it's bungies servers. Every other online game I play has no issues with disconnecting..and yes it stinks getting shards/ascendants... but hey its the RLG... there is noooothing wrong with it. <said in sarcastic tone>

One of my three runs today was absolutely bonkers. Tons of bugs at Crota, had to dissolve the match and switch hosts to get it to stabilize. Crota just went on a Godzilla rampage around the map, refused to lose his shield, insane lag at times. The other two were done in 6-8 minutes or so nothing crazy and no bugs on either one. I think they move one step forward and two back in regards to the exploit fixes and bugs.

1 commentaireMy raid team beat Crota on our first try. I got the hunter helm and 'patience and time' plus two others had an exotic drop. Last week though I got nothing but shards and energy across all three characters so I know how you feel. It all comes down to luck.

3 commentaires3 hours? Holy shit, I completed the whole thing today on 40 minutes. Never even heard of the glitches you speak of, to be honest, and I've done it every week since the DLC released.

1 commentaireLiterally just made this exact same post man I got to 32 after the last reset on my warlock and I have g horn and I just spent 4-6 hours trying to solo him, and boom! I did it! My first solo! A helmet? BLACK HAMMER??? Bakersdaman has found Radiant Energy. -_- F u c k me man.

Lol that sucks man. Thats how long it took us to run it ligit 3 times. We did run into the glitch where his shield went down but he didn't kneel.

Man we were 4 hour at fing crota trying to legit kill him he wouldn't even go down for five seconds sword bearer would take so long to appear he would run away as soon a you pick up the sword and aven came in the room and killed everybody. We had 3 guys with gallahorn and 3 with ice braker yeah nice job on that patch at tne end we quit trying.

1 commentaireFor the first three weeks of Crota's End I received materials for the final loot drop AKA "Vanquishing / Killing" Crota....and I was the Sword carrier...The loot table is SHIT when it comes to Raids. The bottom line is that if you complete the Raid it should be a Guaranteed weapons / armor drop, along w/ Radiant materials. The fact that you can run the whole raid and get fucc all when it comes to loot is a slap in the face to dedicated players.

I thought people were supposed to finally quit complaining about the raid now that you finally have to earn your loot with leet skill, hold the cheese? You earned those energies mate, rejoice that bungie heard you and your time, sweat, blood and tears is finally paying off. Gratz!

4 commentairesI found 2 shards, the rest of my raid loot was energy. If you'd be pleased with shards, you can talk to Eris & trade your energies, a black wax idol, and bit of glimmer for some.

Is it bad that I don't feel bad for your energy drop but I do feel bad for the 2-3 hour completion time?
