Hey guys, I'm set to get married in October. Just wondering how it will impact my current playtime and if any of you will still be willing to group with me. Thanks.

1 commentaireYes. My brother now only plays in the middle of the night when his 6 month old baby and wife are sleeping. Then when his baby wakes up in the middle of the night, he has to get off for like an hour

Other than having a heavier ring finger, I wouldn't expect much to change. Having kids will kill game time pretty well though.

-
Game time we increase drastically because you be getting any other play time
-
Depends what kind of husband you are.
-
You'd have a better chance of playing if you cut off your own hands
-
That is going to cut into your bank account, lifespan, and happiness. Games is the least of your worries.

Your name and the name of this post drip with irony.

When she gets mad that I'm playing I'll be like ok gonna go for a ride to clear my head be back in 45. She's like no why don't you stay on and finish what you have to. It also helps we got our 3 boys ps4 's and destiny for Christmas so they will be like dad can you help us with this and that. I say go ask your mom to see what she thinks, they go in all sad saying they can't beat this or that and lines her up for ok go ask dad to help :) but I have a awesome wife she know I love to play and is cool with it as long as I give her time..

You should ask that to your soon to be wife and see

It's not marriage that saps your time it's kids.Trust me.
-
If you don't do some housework your wife will hide your console.
-
If she's a rare one that actually has her own hobbies then you should be good. But chances are you'll be playing a lot less.
-
Ugh Yeh it will if yall weren't already living together.
-
Shouldn't affect it unless you plan major changes afterwards. Change of Address, Job, etc. If you never want to play again get pregnant

You can say goodbye to videogames and say hello to being glared at the moment you pick up a controller

2 commentairesYou both need time to do the things that you enjoy individually. I'm not saying you have to have an actual written schedule, but try and come up with a loose schedule. Certain nights/time of day you have set aside to do your thing. Certain times are set aside for time together. Now, if she doesn't have her own thing (no friends or hobbies) then you're probably screwed, but if that was the case you probably wouldn't have made it this far. Oh, and every once in awhile, surprise her with something special during what was supposed to be your "me" time. Delayed gratification... It will pay off down the road.

-
As others have stated, if you and your wife can find enjoyment in games together or your wife finding something she likes to do while you game then that is your best bet. Congrats though!
-
It will at first. But then all that time you used to spend having "relations" can be used for gaming. So it will even out.

Get her to play with you! Gotta get that fireteam marriage!

8 commentairesMy wife told me two nights ago: "There are only three types of Destiny players. Single guys. Guys that play Destiny with their GF/Wife. Guys who are about to become single."

1 commentaireIf planning the wedding didn't cut into your play time marriage probably won't Though some women change the month after the wedding.
