Shoulder Charge should have a Cooldown
Hello people.
I like this game, and play it often.
I think the classes are for the most part well balanced.
But one move stands out. the shoulder charge.
IMO a one hit KO should not be readily available every five seconds. Good titan players keep the option to ram you up constantly. resulting in many fists on my screen.
Put a cooldown on it please. not long. just enough to stop the spamming

Disclaimer: i wrote this post after playing crucible on my titan for long stretch of matches. Perhaps it is the influx of xmas noobs that made it seem so jokingly overpowered.

It had a cooldown. It resets if you die.

If shoulder charge got a nerf, I would lose it. Strikers already have a sub par melee ability. In PvE the shoulder charge can't even one-hit level 30 goblins or vandals.... I can't imagine it being even less useful

If you die to shoulder charge on a consistent basis you probably suck.

4 commentairesShoulder charge requires precise timing and good aim. It disperses after a few seconds of sprinting. There's no significant aim assist like for bladedancer and the range requires you to be within Fourth-horseman-one-shot-kill-zone. So yeah it's balanced.

Katy perry's underwear is a weapon right? I think xurs selling that. One of its perks is " persuasive aroma" and it let's u take control of nearby thralls to attack their brethren the other is "Sniff this" in which her underwear is held up high above your head, beckoning the sword bearer to come and get it. It's totes OP. Pretty sure that's his weapon this week

In addition to the small time interval where you can actually use it you also need a charged melee to do so yea there is kinda a cool down already. Get your facts straight first

Lol there is a 5 second window for me to put my boot into your open raging mouth... And it can be shut down easily with a shotgun. Literally ANY shotgun will do it. Stop crying and just play a titan so you can see it isn't as easy as you think.

I think it's fair, Titans are the only class who can't blink. Also striker class is sort of meant to be an ability (grenade and melee) class, it has the lowest range of any super aside from maybe sunsinger and WoD.

It does have a cool down. Muted.

Instead of a cool down it has a charge up and you can't stop stunting and it stays charged for about three seconds, unlike blink strike

Considering you have to put yourself in the crossfire to do and usually end up dying afterward anyway, its fine. And FYI I mainly run as defender.

The only way it gets a full cool down is if it replaces storm fist and then that would bring special effects that you people really don't want. Examples shoulder charge shockwave, aftershocks etc. leave it alone.

Granted it does already have a cool down. As well as the cool down to sprint right after you use shoulder charge. However there is a lil (I don't know if I should call it a glitch or just clever use of game mechanics) thing where if you practice using your shoulder charge over and over again. The right timing after doing the knee in mid air will make it seem like it doesn't have a cool down at all.

Shoulder charge should require more than 2 -blam!-ing steps to work. So many times a Titan will have just stopped shooting and shoulder charge me as I'm about to stab him.
