Edit: And when everyone leaves before even playing and straight out say it's cause I'm a girl and I'm gonna suck for that reason. Yeah that's an example of the kind of sexism I've experienced on this game. The fact that your saying I'm an attention seeker is redundant. This is a real issue.

19 commentairesIdk... I sort of doubt that you're better than I am, but that's not my point. I've never actually seen anybody boot a girl on this game because of her gender... In fact it's usually the exact opposite, with constant friend requests because guys on these games are thirsty as -blam!-. Sorry if that's how you're treated.

20 commentairesclearly you must have been telling people your a girl until the game chat changed becuase before that how would they know? Although your two characters are female that doesnt even give it away because there are loads of guys play as female characters on here. So my suggestion is the best way to get to people is get good at the game and kick their ass. that saves a rant and makes them angry so channel your rant into getting better.

I see no issues with women playing games, my girlfriend and me play all the time, she doesn't play much destiny, but we met playing CoD: MW2, and she was a really competent player

Trust me, this sort of thing happens all the time to people of both sexes. It's not strictly sexism, it's elitism and they will use any possible excuse to justify it. If you weren't a girl they would have found something else. I used to play WoW a lot and many of my friends there were women and they were awesome at the game. They wouldn't really tell people outright that they were women (several had male characters) and found they'd get harassed just as often when people assumed they were male.

Are you an xbox360 xb1 ps3 or ps4 user? If ya are 360 user I don't mind having a girl on my team hell it's better especially during raids cause it keeps the other boys quiet lol

Being a girl game has it's downfalls. Most guys are going to harass you. It's inevitable. The thing is, guys don't just harass girl gamers, they also harass eachother. The social treatment in videogames is the same irl. I understand it's a problem and i do apologize on behalf of the male gamers. I also want to point out that this post was pointless as there was no point to it. We know it's an issue. Guys are assholes. There's a mute button for a reason, and guys will hit on girls either way. It's in our nature.

I find sexism in games us a common thing. My friend git a lot of abuse when she would own people on titanfall, there idiots but it's also a sign there pissed off cause your getting the better if them.
