bungie exotics are not so exotic when everyone has them.
The last word was so promising...
I'm not complaining about good people buying guns. That ok and I have done it too.
I'm complaining at the price of the guns sell by xur. It takes way less time to gather the coins to buy something every week than RNGjesus dropping and exotic for you.

1 commentaireExotic does not mean rare, it means unique or different which is true since they are unique to the other guns in the game. They have unique names, lore, designs, and perks. Other than those four things they are literally just legendary weapons with a yellow background. They deal the same max damage and they take the same amount of materials and time to level up. You are not special if you own an exotic, you just own a gun that has an an actual back story, and a few cool perks that fit the story for the gun.

The exotic thing about them is their perk only that exotic has the perk that's what makes it special it doesn't matter how many people have it.

Exotics were never meant to be rare.

You are coming at this with the wrong attitude. Exotics were never meant to be a one in a million gun. That is why you can have one exotic weapon an armor equipped. They were meant to offer an advantage over your legendary gear. The last word for example, like most hand cannons except you can fire it as fast as you like, you can even just hold the trigger. It also has hip fire perks for damage. No other hand cannon has that. If you could have TLW, an Ice Breaker, and a Ghorn would you seriously still be complaining about Xur?

Depends on your definition of exotic. For me exotic means a gun with such an outrageous feature that it is totally OP under certain circumstances. Just like the Gjallarhorn boss killer rocket launcher. Not that only few people have it.

2 commentairesI got Ghorn through crucible. That's really hard to do. I understand a good portion of players will not obtain a gun they want this way. That's what xur is for. Those who aren't lucky. There's nothing wrong with that.

I hope that xur doesn't sell dlc exotics, that way people can have good weapons like the ones he sells now but there will still be exotic exotics

Exotic means different or unusual, it does not mean "rare".
