power level to 20
Have someone help you do all the story mission on hard. finish all the bounties. then you have the options of doing the stair farm on earth or crucible to finish up leveling.

I reached level 20 on my hunter before even reaching Venus lololol. Do the Eris Bounties. ALL of the ones you're capable of and every Vanguard one. Try a couple crucible ones as well. Like Complete 5 - Matches. :)

For me the quickest way to level up is to actually run through all the levels solo on the lowest level. You do get that slight bonus EXP at the end for doing it on the higher level, but it isn't worth spending more time running through the level (since you get way more exp killing the adds throughout the level and don't get more exp on the higher levels). Plus when you do it with someone else you frequently loose exp from them killing things and being too far from you/ you not hitting the target first.
