So after having these consoles out on the market for almost a year, getting to play them and see how the company's are handling support for them here's the question:
If your consoles main competitor offered you a trade in on your console and games for their console and games, would you take it?
Please keep the bashing to a minimum. If you are happy with your console, just list the positives not the negatives of the competition.

Switch? Hell no. I love my PS4. I -blam!-ing hate Microsoft but I'll definitely be getting a X1 at some point.

Modifié par Basshead878 : 8/28/2014 9:44:09 AMIf I considered trading platforms, I would only do so after the expansions came out and be the 1st xbox player able to play them
-
I haven't played either.
-
I am considering getting a wii u. Mario kart looks too fun. Plus I got a 133" projector so split screens would still be like 50" tvs
-
Hell, yes. I happily went with the 360 last gen. This time, I.am so impressed with Sony. The fact that all games have Remote Play via the PS Vita baked in is huge for me. No Man's Sky, The Last of Us Remastered, indie games like Among The Sleep. Hands down, Sony has my money this gen.

3 commentairesModifié par Vampire Nox : 8/26/2014 7:39:38 PMNope. But then again, there's nothing for me really to switch to. I own 2 Xbox Ones, a PS4, 2 360's, 2 PS3's, and a gaming PC. I'm already "on" every platform (yup, I even have a Wii). Out of all my gaming platforms, I play my PC the most. Nothing beats the Mustard Rice. As far as consoles go, I vastly prefer my Xbox One over my PS4. LIVE is an infinitely better service both in support and security than PSN, the UI on the One is leagues better than the PS4 UI, the One controller fits and feels much better than the DS4. regardless of what flamers may want to say, there really isn't any difference between the PS4 and the One. The whole "50% moar powurfill" is a drastic over-exaggeration. The specs and final performance are so close that there's no difference between the two consoles (I speak from actually trying shit out myself). To finish, all of the games I'm looking forward to playing are coming out on both the One and PS4, or the One and PC. There's no reason for me to fire up my PS4 yet. So no, there wouldn't be a switch in my "chosen" platform if Sony offered the deal OP mentioned. I got the One first, I've tried the PS4 (gave it a good two week exclusive run so that any personal bias would be negated and I could have a good judgement of the PS4's offerings), and I went right back to my One. LIVE and the Xbox brand are simply better than PSN and the PlayStation brand.

'Course not.

Modifié par Pahat Pojat : 8/26/2014 7:35:28 PMIf it wasn't for MCC I'd have gotten PS4. So I'm going to be fine with Wii U and Xbox One for Halo 1-2 for years to come.
-
With the MCC, it would be tempting. But I still think I made the right decision.

-
How can I switch if I have both wait yes I would change my Xbox one out for a Wii u
-
Nope. I've always been on Playstation. It's always (for me), had more and better games. So I'm sticking with it. That said, I will be buying an X1 later on.

10 commentairesNo, MS has royally screwed the pooch. That's why I went from 360 to The PS4 in the first place. I have zero regrets.

Modifié par George Foman : 8/27/2014 3:36:04 AMThere is only 1 factor that would bring me to ps4, Bloodeborne. Other than that I'm totally fine with my console of choice.
-
2 commentairesNope. If I wanted an X1 I'd just go buy an X1. PS4 + Wii U have all the exclusives I want so far. Though I've been gaming on 3DS and Vita more than anything.
-
Hahahahaaahahahaaa
I'm good
-
>tfw I own both and it feels so good
-
What if I already own the Xbone and PS4?
-
No i will own both.
-
Having both master race
-
I'd be more inclined to get both rather then switch to the others. But seeing as I've been a Sony console user for the batter part of 20 years...and everyone I know are Sony console users, I don't much see the point. It's not that I hate the XBox, I don't. I actually owned an Xbox. All of my friends are Playstation users, and this is going back 20 years. There's people I play with that I've known just as long. Can't see myself starting over on a new console. Are there games on the XB1 I'd love to play? Absolutely. Sunset Overdrive, Crackdown & Forza Horizon 2 at the top of the short list. But I'd be playing them by myself as none of my long time, long term gaming friends own XB1s, and none of them have intention on changing that. So it's Sony and only Sony for me.
-
I'm happy with my X1
-
I got an Xbox One and Wii U. I'm good. There are only two exclusives that I want from Playstation and one of them is timed.
-
Modifié par Mcbiggity : 8/26/2014 8:06:46 PMI've had both, still have PS4. I didn't like the xbone features enough to warrant keeping it... But with all the MS guys saying how much they like their Xbones, makes me think about getting one again... Though I know it'll just collect dust, since all my friends switched to Sony this gen.
-
Never. Playstation 100%.
