How to get out of school for Destiny
Can anyone leave their methods for getting out of school. I don't plan to make this a habit, It's just for launch day. And if you leave comments about missing education, my school has a make up work system for kids who are absent. Also before you assume I'm an immature kid, I'm a junior in highschool. And if you're going to comment "Just stay in school, Destiny will be there." Thats not what I'm asking for so don't comment. Any ideas? [b]EVERYONE STOP REPLYING TO THIS POST! I know in Canada you can go to a walk-in clinic and have them write you a note for being sick. its 40 bucks i think. Just skip school and return with a doctors note also text a friend in each of your classes to find out if your missing anything important. In my highschool you could get away with skipping school as long as someone 18 or older wrote a note. We just ask one of our grade 12 friends to write us a note. Just ask your secretary what you need if you miss a day or two of classes.

So did you ask and get rejected? My mom for whatever reason decided it was ok for ms to stay home from school during Halo 2 and 3 release. I'd say as long as my kid was doing well in school why not. If you're a slacker with C's and D's then no...you go plus you don't get a game.

Fake sick , parents go to work and it's play time. When they get back you've had a miracle recovery from drinking water all day!

Go to school, go to homeroom. Leave 10 mins after. Your parents aren't called. But you have to deal with why you weren't there. Then part 2: which is learning how to act innocent. Part 3: Enjoy your game. Part 4: Go to school tomorrow and continue to go and stay until the end of the day. I understand destiny is important that you just want to take the day off for that day. But you have to remember that school is more important.

Throwing myself down the stairs and then plunging into the fire place. Then eye cans stays home and play forever...... No, I'm going to school like a normal person. The game will be there when you get home. Why miss school to play a game that isn't going to get up and walk away?

My dont ypy just tell your folks you really just wanna take a single day off? Do extra chores and shit and try to get across hownhyoes you ate for this game... Tbh man I skipped highschool for all the halo launches just by being frank. Also helped that a third of the school was "sick" those days ;)

Over the weekend start to pretend to get head achs belly achs, and boddie achs. Possibly even cancel some plans with friends so your parents know your serious. Go to school Monday pretend to be miserable posably go home early if you can. Day of pretend to barf and get worse. Tell parents you dont even know if you can video game your so sick... When they leave get your game on. Make sure to get off before they get home so you can jump on "for the first time that day" or act like you are feeling better so you just jumped on..... Blam the system!!

First of all if you go to the midnight release tell your mom you are to tired also during the night hide your gaming console so she can't take it also do not play video games until she is really gone and if it works have fun (ps in my personal experience I just ditch school for the day and say I was sick and play video games)
