For those who played beta, I think it would be a bit more fair if we got to keep a weapon or armor piece along with the beta calling card/emblem thing. Just getting an emblem(and sorry, but it doesn't look all that cool) for helping test the game seems kind of small to help in such a giant game. I think when the game releases we should be able to see our beta guardian and be able to select one item from it(including items stored in the vaults) and be able to keep one for our hard work. Because some players might have gotten rare items they got lucky to gain. And no one wants to lose something they worked hard for. So I'm asking this from all us players, could you allow us this?

1 commentaireIf you explored in the beta you would have found the best hunting spots for glimmer farming you could keep it a secret share it. We Beta testers get that advantage.
-
1 commentaireEntitled much? Playing the beta was already a gift in itself.
-
Why should anyone get special treatment. Beta test a chance to gain knowledge which will give a slight advantage over the 1st time player, chests spin metal etc... Did you go out of your way to find and report bugs or did you like many others just play and complain that all I got was an emblem.

12 commentairesModifié par Caviarboy : 7/27/2014 7:07:19 AMAs a Beta tester for many many games and services, I have no issue with at least a small transfer of stuff. Yeah there are Betas that say there will be no progress saved, and that you're just an experiment, but this is Bungie we're talking about. If they want to take over the world then they'll need to appease us all so we side with them lol. But seriously though, it was pretty annoying that they flaunted level 9-20 gear in front of us, let us save it, then there would be the chance that we never get to use the gear. Capping at 9 then having an epic gun sitting there at one more level really sucked. But I'd be ok with losing that stuff if we at least earned something besides just an emblem. I put my time into the game earning ranks with NPCs to unlock stuff, AND bug reporting. We're all used for statistics anyways but even the mouse/rat going through the maze gets an award when it's finished. And for all of you crazy negative lunatics trying to bring people down, go to hell. So what, we want something to compensate for our time, there is nothing wrong with that. The negative people here are the biggest bunch of babies I've ever met. Oh you're so cool that you can mess with peoples heads and make them feel like trash just for something so simple. The people doing that are disgusting human beings and I'm glad I don't listen to game chat for the game so I don't have to listen to their bullshit. It's a damn game, get along with your allies or fail. Or you can just be miserable your whole life and have nobody ever like you and you'll be alone forever. Your choice. I'm done with these negative forums now.

Be cool to have ONE thing yes, but you will most likely get them back along with sum better stuff. I only miss my Hunter Cloaks and Hunter herself. She was so beautiful.

1 commentaireWhile I agree that it would be nice to be rewarded with something a little better than an emblem, Bungie isn't required to give us anything at all. And besides, due to all the bugs and farming glitches, a lot of people acquired exotics that they normally wouldn't have been able to get by playing fairly, so being able to take an item from your vault into the full game would be kind of cheap. I would take a unique piece of class armor with a sweet design for all the guardians of beta testers though.
-
1 commentaireJust give everyone a class item with something cool on it hell do the same emblem just on a class item they are only cosmetics and if it was say a blue item it could look great on all classes
-
I don't think that we should keep anything we collected, but I wouldn't mind something like a unique armor piece for the special slot. Something that identifies you as a Beta player on sight. Alpha as well. No advantages, just a bit of a visual cue so vets can recognize one another while traversing the landacape and newcomers can find someone with experience to learn a trick or two.
-
I played the Alpha. Geared up, stored multiples of weapons, horded glimmer like Halloween candy... but I lost that. Beta launch. Did the same thing second time around. Losing that... and you know what? It's ok! It's a game! You helped make it better. I wish I would have had my 100+ damage weapons for the Beta, but not having them made me develop my gameplay and skills to a greater level. Suck it up people. You are not special. I get you probably want your items because it makes you feel important or because you want to brag to your friends, but you will have to slug it out all over again! Just like every other person. There isn't anyone receiving special treatment... because no one deserves it! Just be happy you get to play such an amazing game in the first place! -End Rant

Your reward was playing beta, end of. Be happy you get anything.

1 commentaireI can't believe how entitled people are these days. You got to help Bungie make the game better at launch. They asked us to do it. Be happy you got to.

Modifié par TargetPractice86 : 8/15/2014 7:16:20 PMWhat is this "hard work" you speak of? Everything you got in the beta will be easily obtainable by just playing the game. Not to mention most of the stuff will be meaningless to you at level 20. If you say raided and got a legendary then yes be angry. A level 8 uncommon rifle? Worthless. And don't ask from all of us gamers. I for one was prepared to lose my beta character. I'm looking forward to the day I can play destiny again and get even better stuff.
-
I wish we would get a little more as well. For people that actually preordered to get beta access. Not the people that just walked in the last few days because they opened it up.. To me, those people shouldn't be rewarded lol.
-
I think if u preordered u should be able to get a class item for participating in the beta but ppl who just came on in the last days should get only the emblem. But whatever the emblem is still kinda cool
-
A lot of people feel your pain. But a few days into the full release you'll have better stuff than what you had.
-
They already stated reasons why beta characters and equipment wouldn't be transferable, something to do with incompatibility with the changes that would be made with the full game. Armour and weapons you had in beta could be screwed up or useless by the changes made.

Modifié par PhilCR : 8/15/2014 4:20:22 PMWould you link your bug report for me, please? I wish to take a look on your feedback.

Silly people and their inflated sense of entitlement. You deserve nothing.

2 commentairesExactly, regarding the beta reward, bungie said something about being a unique snowflake, when I found out what the reward was, I was like "A emblem? That's it???" I was kinda disappointed at first but, at least I got to participate in the beta and got a taste of the real thing. Can't wait for the full game!!!
-
2 commentairesThat's not really how this works. That's not how this should work and I don't want anything to carry over. Everyone should start out the same on launch. A few low level weapons won't matter to you at all when you're playing the full game and have much, much better gear. We're lucky to get the emblem honestly. We're lucky to even get to PLAY Destiny before launch.
-
1 commentaireAgreed!
-
4 commentairesIt's not like we got to play Destiny or anything.
-
3 commentairesOur reward was that we got to play the game about 2 months before it is released
-
1 commentaireI am just glad to have played the game and be a part of the Destiny experience. Who needs more rewards anyways; playing the game a month before its release is a reward in and of itself. I have some gear that I wish I could keep, (but I am not overly attached to it), and I imagine we will have no problem accumulating gear once the game actually launches. We played a beta, that should be treated like a beta, and now look forward to 9/9/14.
