Thousands of threads are made on this site every day. From the repetitive bait threads, annoying shit posts, frequent news articles, and unique threads such as a story, joke, or list thread, any of them can be labeled as a good or bad thread.
In your opinion, what makes a "Good Thread?"

My threads. Buts that's a fact not an opinion

You know what's funny? Everyone saying interesting and funny content will probably ignore good content and contribute next to nothing to a good thread other than a bump.

Good discussion value Lulz

A thread in which I get to have sex with you.
bang me, the Nasty way.
It has to be clever. Something almost no one would expect. But, in the end, they will realize that they wanted it the entire time.
-
Whether or not it has discussion value is the most important factor, personally. Then, in order, come news articles, story threads, joke threads ( if the joke(s) is reasonable and appropriate), In dead last come bait threads or other annoying posts that aren't even worth the time to open.
-
Nothing is a bad thread. Everything is entertaining, whether it's a shitpost, a daily dose of flood drama, or an intelligent post with discussion value.
-
-Not obvious political/religious flamebait -Interesting topic -Excellent discussion value -Helpful in some way (maybe)

That's hard to tell. Some threads, such as parody threads, manage to hold the front page for a few days. But many quality threads are washed assunder under the tides of shit, and they stay forever buried. In that sense, you could say that they weren't good in the first place if they didn't get the attention of anybody. But how can you when the moment you post your thread it's four pages down the line because of Religion X thread 2,491 for the day or other crap like that? Quality does not exist here any longer. Or, at the very least, quality that lasts with a spark of energy to it. To me, a quality thread is one where everyone is engaged in discussion, but not because of bait. It arrived precisely on the time that it was supposed to, when the time was right. There is fun to be had, and humor to be shared, and a level of discussion where people are all actively thinking and discussing things together, or creating and showing things. There are many different types of good. There's good humor, good discussion and debate, imagination, creativity, and so on. There is no one true standard of "The Good Thread." But I can tell you that what we have now does not meet any of the standards, but only once in a blue moon.

How many boobies are we talking about here? 1 booby = 4/10 thread 2 boobies =6/10 thread 3+bewbs = 10/10

*sit on normal chair for once* *adjust fancy smart glasses* Not sure....

I guess ones that can continuously spark a discussion. My one about states seems to keep going. Not that I'm bragging of course. >,> But I think it's "good" if it just sparks a lot of diverse and fun discussion.
