I think a sense of competitiveness is just a pervasive part of gaming, and the message it brings fosters a community that is pretty aggressive about its opinions. And I'm not even talking about competitive gaming or online gaming. I mean that gaming by its very nature is a competitive activity, and you're going to get some aggressive fans with something like that, same with sports.
