people of xbox we are also going to have beta, but not as soon. We can all play the game when it comes out so don't cry over it. I only have an xbox and I don't mind waiting 2 weeks or so to play destiny so stop crying over it. I don't care if I wait longer I'm still get the game and play it, so don't cry.

Well sense playstation has exclusives .how about we let them have that and for xbox owners you should have some co related halo theme pack .I would definitely forgive bungie .

Bungie. I hope u read this. there's one thing every gamer knows it's that you should never underestimate the value we'll ascribe to the tiniest things imaginable. Case in point: Destiny's exclusive alpha period on PS4. In the scheme of things it's just a matter of weeks. There's an open beta coming in less than a month on all the platforms. You'd think Xbox fans wouldn't be too bent about PS4 owners getting access to an alpha three weeks ahead of the open beta. You'd be wrong. Online, there's plenty of forum discussions full of longtime Halo fans expressing their outrage over the alpha decision. It's easy to dismiss them as butthurt fanboys. They fit the profile. Whiny, entitled posts from angry fans about how a corporate entity "betrayed" them as if Bungie was a friend who ditched them for the cool kids. After all, Sony fans have an awful lot to gloat about since the next-gen console launch. If the next-gen console landscape was reversed, the PS4 exclusive alpha would barely register on the radar of Xbox fans. Instead, it threw "exclusive" salts on an open wound. It stung, and fans kneejerk reaction was "this hurts." A lot of fans got over it or ignored it entirely. I did, but I'm not so sure we should have. In fact, the more I think about it the more I find myself siding with the loyal fans who are disappointed by Bungie's new relationship with Sony. And I don't say that as a longtime Halo fan. I say that as someone who is friends with SERIOUSLY hardcore Halofans. Because Halo isn't just some game. It's an empire that turned Bungie into a king. And it wasn't built with Sony dollars. The Halo empire is worth something like $3.5 billion. Obviously all that money didn't go straight to Bungie, but that's a huge figure that includes a lot more than game sales. We're talking Halo action figures, Halo novels and even minutiae like Halo lightswitch covers. And while Bungie can talk all the artistic integrity and independent thinking it wants, the bottom line is the corporate management of Microsoft turned Bungie into one of the most influential and successful studios in gaming history. If it weren't for Microsoft, and the tireless support of Microsoft fans, Bungie would likely be the world's most successful gaming studio ... for Macs. Halo fans are right to feel entitled. The "they don't owe you anything" argument is the wrong one to make because gamers should look out for fellow gamers, not gigantic studios backed by even-more-gigantic publishers. I wonder how all the PS4 supporters who think Xbox fans are overreacting would behave if Naughty Dog's Last Of Us launched early on Xbox 360 and came with exclusive content for more than a year. I doubt they'd underreact. And, last I checked, you can't buy Unchartedlightswitch covers. This isn't an issue about who gets what or when they get it. It's about one of the largest, most financially supportive fanbases in gaming today getting overlooked because of bad feelings between two companies. It's not the fans who wanted Bungie to make only Halo games for a decade. It's not fans who walked away from Microsoft after years of profitable investment. Like with any messy divorce, it's the kids who suffer most. Every Halo fan who is pissed about Bungie's PS4 exclusives needs to continue to be pissed. Take to the forums, write angry emails, tweet obsessively. Bungie doesn't seem to care, and Sony fans will continue to mock your outrage. But you're not wrong. The support Halo fans gave to the franchise extended well beyond game sales. Bungie could have just as easily won over Sony fans the same way they won over Microsoft fans: by making great games. Instead they chose to take the years of loyal support from Microsoft fans for granted and give exclusives to a fanbase that never gave them anything.

MORE BUGS!!! I noticed the bad guys all look to be bi-ped so far. ok cool they made armored fat badies, skinny four armed ones, but why no full on bug class driven by the need to expand the hive par say like something straight out of starship trooper... I recently found "Defiance" which imo seems to be the general idea of where this game is going. I liked the idea behind the hell bugs and scrappers and would like to see this in some part of the destiny solar system.

Even with xbox getting content 30 days later, I've come to accept it after all I'm just trying to get all this loot and become legend already.

Could a Destiny version of bumper jumper be an alternative to the default button layout?
