Okay, so I watched this video from the Destiny Updates guy, and he says that the Fire Team consist of 3 members total (around 17:34).
THAT'S KINDA NOT ENOUGH.
Most of the games support 4 player co-op. If I want to play with my usual group of friends, one of us would be left behind. So yeah, kinda bad. (Poor Johnny was more of a cannon fodder anyway, but what's a team without a team mascot?)
I was really looking forward to playing Destiny... but if I can't play it with the guys then it's not really worth it. No thanks, Bungie.

Just gonna leave this here...

1 commentaireAt 3:17 in this video you will notice the party says 3/6 players. Now I don't know for sure if that's just for competitive multiplayer, or for everything, but in this video 6 is the party, or "fireteam" size.

1 commentaireThe 3-man fireteam is the core unit in Destiny. It's the jumping-off point for the game that helps set the tone and cadence. There's been no word on what to expect in other modes like raids or competitive multiplayer.
-
The 3 system I think is a great dynamic
my two cents
-
Boo-hoo. Try having 6-7 friends I'll have to split my game time up with. Just make 2 fire teams of 2. And stop crying.
-
1 commentaireThat's only in the private areas. In public areas, strikes, raids, and competitive multiplayer you'll be able to have more.
-
1 commentaireI find that three is plenty because there is only wait for it........three classes to choose from, it makes this game stand out
-
Yeah 3 is kinda awkward I was hoping for Titan for short range dps and somewhat tanking and splash dps Hunter for single target dps and sniping enemies from a distance to thin the cloud and lower the hp of the harder enemies and deal with sniper enemies A damage based warlock to help with the Titan And a healing based warlock to heal us when it gets rough That was my dream fire team, I was really hoping for that hopefully more than one fireteam can tackle a level
-
Fireteams are limited to 3, however you can combine Fireteams into a strike team or whatever it was called. Granted as far as in game goes you're still limited to talking within your Fireteam, there's always out of game Chat options.

2 commentairesHonestly, the same argument would be made regardless of the number of members a fire team could hold. Oh, fire teams can only hold 4 you say? But now my fifth friend is left out. Rinse and repeat for any possible number of members in your fireteam. The real solution would be to split into two fire teams of two and play that way. Then, no one is left out in the cold. But, I guess logic is just something you don't enjoy.

You seem backdoor bombarded, or anally agitated.
-
1 commentaireCorrect me if I'm wrong but I thought there were three per fire team and two fire teams per squad. So why not split it two and two? Also there is a very high probability not all four of you will be on all at once.
-
4 commentairesThree seems like a great number to me. For is just odd and unbalanced, five is less odd but you would really have to decide who you want in your group because if the imbalance, and six just seems cluttered.
-
1 commentaireIt doesn't matter because many fireteams can compete together
-
I second this motion!!!

1 commentaireDon't let the Door hit ya where the good Lord split ya

Does seem a little low but must be a good reason. You can join up with other fire teams right?
-
Modifié par Hycubis : 3/3/2014 7:14:43 PMI'm pretty sure they've mentioned different game modes having multiple Fireteams. Perhaps you could make two more friends so you have two Fireteams and play the appropriate game modes?
