After the traumatic events of the 8th of January 2013, A year and a week ago. The site changed from B.old to B.next...
Many, including myself were put off and did not like the new layout. However it has certainly grown on me. Whilst it lacks that old floodian charm, I've had a great time on B.next and #Offtopic and so it occurred to me, What do the other floodians think of it now?
Post-change trauma, ignoring nostalgia - Do you like B.next? Or do you still hanker after the olden days?
I apologise for the crappy wording/layout/grammar of this but I'm very tired and so this is my version of a drunkpost :D

2 commentairesI actually joined in B.next so im a offtopicker

Modifié par asir : 1/15/2014 3:29:02 PMI like b.old's layout better than the b.next layout, but the Bungie mobile app has a really nice interface that's better than both so I stick to that.

I don't like it, I just got used to it.
-
I like the update, I don't like how it killed the former community and all the activity there used to be.
-
I still much prefer the old layout. The best praise I can give this one is that it's bearable.
-
One year later. Still possibly the worst site update ever.
-
I've definitely gotten used to it.

1 commentaireI like the setup and design. I like being able to mute shitposters/trolls/assholes. I don't like the new mostly-hands-off moderation style. I don't like the decision to make it possible to have identical display names as another user.
-
Not entirely happy. Not entirely pissed off. I see it as a stepping stone to a better final result. I do wish some of our community would have stuck it out a while longer before abandoning ship. Perhaps they'll return one day.

14 commentairesWould anyone be interested in a graph of the number of topics made per day in #offtopic? I can totally do it, I just need to know if it would be worthwhile.
-
I don't dislike it. There still is a lot of room for improvement and I preferred the old site in a lot of ways, but it's hard to deny that things like the notification system and embedded pictures/videos are good additions to B.net.
-
If I could bring all the old threads back, it would be perfect. It is pretty obvious that B.next is an improvement, I just want Cereal -blam!-er back.
-
I don't mind it, but I still prefer bungie.old
-
Not gunna lie I like it but i feel as if it lost the family feel

2 commentairesModifié par Gamerz_Property : 1/15/2014 4:06:00 AMI miss the quote pyramids. :( Also, dat Exalted Mythic.
-
I've grown to the new forums... So it doesn't seem as awful as it did. But I still prefer Bungie.old
-
I miss the old layout but .next isn't to bad.
-
Modifié par GiantDad : 1/15/2014 4:24:10 AMI still like the old version more. I've learned to accept this new website, but it just isn't as comfortable as .old. And there was a lot less shitposting and flood drama. I know that the mute system has good intentions, but it sucks ass compared to the mods of old that actually enforced the the rules. Nothing personal to our Ninjas, but I liked it more when you guys actually enforced the rules all the time, not just when someone decides to post pronz or have an alt spamming frenzy.

Interesting how it was the day after my birthday and the day before Elegiac's birthday...
-
2 commentairesIt kinda wrecked the community. Seniority doesn't mean much, and alts run around like crazy.
-
We all must like it if we choose to be here, however, I really think they squashed the true potential this site had and instead only made it slightly better than the old one. There's still chance of improvement.

Modifié par Babah Booey : 1/15/2014 3:53:59 AMWorks like crap on smart phones? Auto-signs me out ever hour? Huh.. no. The old one was faster and much better, and I always stayed signed in.
-
I am holding on for the day that someone realizes their grave mistake of not implementing the blue bar again. IMO that might mitigate a lot of these alt imposters. So yes. Yes I am disappoint.
-
Some good things, some bad things...I miss my blue hat.
-
Still just as bad as day one.
-
Where else would I spend my time?
