Xbox one does 180 on their DRM policies already

This isn't the daily checkin thing, this is the same thing that literally every console/platform has been doing since digital downloads began. This isn't news, it's lazy journalism.

Sounds to me like the original user who owned the game wasn't logged into Xbox Live. The game license is attached to the console it was originally downloaded on, and then to the user who downloaded it.
