Will Destiny Require Xbox Gold or PSN+?
A major problem I am seeing with Destiny right now is that it may require premium membership in order to be able to play. Destiny looks incredible, but with my college career to begin likely in the fall of 2014 and with my senior year of high school in full swing and filling up most of my time, I won't be able to practically maintain a premium subscription. I would still love to be able to play Destiny, I would just love if it didn't require premium subscriptions.
So does Destiny require premium subscriptions?

Xbox Live Gold will be mandatory as Destiny is an online game. Whether or not it will require PSN+ is up to Activision.

2 commentairesThey will require the premium to play online, at least for the PS4 and for both XBs. Do what i do. Get a friend who works at GS and have him/her buy it for you at their discount, then pay them bak that amount. XBL Gold is like $40 a year that way.

It's always online so it will most likely need a psn+ or an xbox live subscription.

It will matter as destiny will most likely run like defiance where you need to have full access to do game patches and play.

I'm confused. Are you saying you won't be able to play Destiny from a premium membership because you won't be able to afford it? Even if you get a job to afford XBL/PSN+ wouldn't you be starting college anyway?

I mean, it's an only online game so paying for those services seem more than likely, but at the same time it is only 50 bucks a year. I guess that just doesn't seem like much Money to me.

If you want to play any Multiplayer game on the Xbox you need to have Xbox Live Gold membership, and since Destiny requires an Internet Connection to work anyway I am going to say yes.
