What side is that countries are using tax money and time on people's sexual orientation based on the leader's own insecurity instead of solving real problems. Like the massive amounts of crime in Russia and Europe's economy.

There'd be such a shitstorm. As much as Putin and the Russian authorities enforcing these laws are morally bankrupt scum they aren't so stupid to create the kind of hurricane that would result in such a brazen move.
