1 commentaireI think the One is going to fail compared to the PS4, especially with Halo being out of the picture. Millions of people, myself included, only supported the Xbox and Xbox 360 because of Halo. Well, we don't have a reason to support it anymore which is why I think the PS4 is going to be top dog in the next gen. Playstation was huge in the late 90's-early 2000's, so I don't see why it couldn't be now.

This is basically comparing a lotus elise to a bentley. Both of them can go really fast (they both play games), yet whilst one is based purely on going fast, the other one is filled with champagne, television, sat nav and has many more features, alongside going as fast as the elise.

22 commentairesI have to say that people are making it seem worse than it actually is. First, who really cares what it looks like. It is the performance that matters. If you don't like the way it looks put a bag over it. Second, I have read that people are already bitching about the controller when they haven't even touched it yet all that they have done is look at a fricken picture!!! Third, Xbox offers more than playstation does in terms of the Xbox Live. The playstation network sucks its too linear and its free, which is mainly why it sucks. Xbox Live is/was $60 a year, not a big deal. I think when it is all said and done Xbox is going to come on top as the winner hands down.

Y'know? I'm having a real hard time finding anything I don't like about the announcement. I suppose it really boils down to what you expected from the release, and how you currently use you media for entertainment. I dig the idea of a media hub. I always have internet, so always on is just fine by me. I don't lend games very often, if ever, because my friends already have what I have. I like that they decided to spend the majority of the event talking about the hardware rather than the games because of E3 being so close.( saves plenty to reveal.) And most unexpectedly, I actually want to get my hands on a kinect for the first time now. My biggest gripe is the lack of any actual specs, but I was already resigned to the fact that it would probably run DDR3 so that's kind of a wash. I can see how some folks might be pissed for various reasons. Fortunately for me, it's damn near perfect.

5 commentairesPessimism! Pessimism everywhere! Seriously, while I am not "impressed" per se, by today's reveal, I'm not hopping on the "LOLXBOXONE FAILZ, PS4 FOR LIFE" train either. This -blam!-ing forum, every time. Bitching about something. Seriously, welcome to the real world, where things will change whether they have your permission or not. The Xbox One is not as bad as some of you are making it out to be, the real problem lies within the underwhelming Microsoft presentation itself, not the console. Just wait until E3 before jumping to hasty conclusions. It's -blam!-ing annoying.

All I know is that the primary feature that has been shown so far, the tv integration, does not interest me in the slightest. I cant even remember the last time I used my tv to actually watch tv, so yes so far for me it seems like a whole lot of unnecessary bull crap that I dont want.
