Am I the only one here who likes 343?
Or the Waypoint forums for that matter?
While I don't use the forums often, I had no problems when I did use them. The stat tracking works and has a clean look to it. The avatars are a bit dull, though.
As for 343, I'd say Halo 4 is a pretty good game. It definitely had more cons than previously Halo games(Forge makes me sad), but it is still a fun game to play. I would also like to add that I made a Flood map and found out you can't have weapons spawn in Flood. So, other than a crappy forge and no Infection, Halo 4 is great in my eyes.
Halo: Anniversary and its graphic switch option is one of the coolest things I've seen in a remake.
I enjoyed Forward Unto Dawn.
I am sure I will enjoy Halo 5.
What did they do to upset you?

I actually think they did a pretty good job with Halo 4... The problem I have with them revolves around multiplayer design. I loved the campaign and hope they continue to give Halo outstanding visuals and cinematics.

I do just play Halo: Reach, im really lookin for Destiny.. Halo 4: i can better play 5 hours outside then play 1 hour Halo 4 im soo bored of that game.. Lol

Does anyone remember when that kid asked a panel of 343 employees why they didn't do a new version of Blood Gulch in Halo 4? And he asked why they made a remake of a remake instead? The answer he got was "I can tell you from personal experience, Halo 3 did not have a Blood Gulch either". That pretty much sums up the level of intelligence I see in 343. I think it may have actually been a RoosterTeeth employee who said that, but still. What the heck did he think Valhalla was, if not a variation on Blood Gulch? Just...facepalm.

To put it basically, for me, the stuff they do well, they do really well while the stuff that they don't do so well falls flat on its face. I definitely think that people are overly zealous and melodramatic in their 'hate' though, they know deep down that once Halo 5 comes out they'll be saying that "Halo 4 was so much better" and so on - as the pattern has been ever since Halo 2...

I don't hate 343 studios, but I don't particularly like them either. I think they did an amazing job in the story telling department but only an ok job on implementing it to gameplay. Now multiplayer on the other hand, I would say they botched up pretty bad. It really does feel a lot like a cod clone. Custom games aren't much better because they took out too much of the customization that made it so good. I am really hoping that the next halo game the bring back more of the original halo and halo2 multiplayer gameplay. Besides that I think 343 is doing, at least right now, a decent job.

The Forge maps aren't all that great, Theater is almost useless, and the playlists are just plain bad. I want a real 1-50 Ranking system, not some Waypoint hybrid. FF should be turned back on. I'm not saying its bad (well, I'm saying the playlists are bad), but Halo 4 isn't the Halo I enjoy playing is all.
