Thank you for the dawning
The first thing I want to say is the tower decorations were great this year. I love trying to find hidden areas that are decorated and whoever did the hidden vehicle room by drifter you did a great job, same with the area under Hawthorne. However I would love to see decorations in the other hidden areas down by saint 14 you know the vents where leviathans breath was.
My other feedback would be to bring back all the dawning weapons next year. They don't have to be part of the tier system but being able to get any old roll of cold front or glacioclasm would have been nice.

It is good that you enjoyed the decorations. I am still mesmerized by the tree - day or night. What we need is an insane activity like Bonfire Bash but we pelt a Giant Snow Taken with snowballs. LOL

I just logged on at about 1:15p and the tower looked empty. Went to see what Eververse had, turned around and the Dawning decorations were back. Space Granny is there under her canop,y, but when I "approached" her, nothing ia there.

Tower deco is cool for a change after staring at the weatherless Tower for so long I agree. But taking away all the earned presents is just a bit Grinchy.

2 commentairesTower decorations are usually pretty good for all events; however, 3x weeks is probably 1x week too long for any event, imho. Also, the flood of mediocre loot is a pain… ‘Baking’ is getting a bit long in the tooth, too… The Forge + Forge loot…yes please! 👈 That is all. Ease Things! 🖖👻

I LOVE the Dawning, especially in the Tower with all the decorations. BUT I MISS THROWIING SNOWBALLS IN THE TOWER!!! Remember when Master Rhool was sooooo stingy with the very rarely dropped prime engrams and the satisfaction we all got plastering him with snow!

The dawning gave me T5 sword master armor after turning in hundreds of cookies, while engaging with the game how I normally do. That’s a win for me, and others. Got to clear the dungeon a bunch of times and play LF and invasions. I tried the snowball fight, wasn’t for me. I’d say it was a pretty decent event. Hell, even a good one.

Modifié par Hyperstorm76 : 1/6/2026 4:10:13 AMI'm a little turn: on the one hand I have enjoyed the heck out of it and wish it ran a whole month and baking and handing out cookies is an easy XP farm, but on the other hand the weeks is too long because the prize pool is too small so once you have the roll you want all you do is delete every weapon received. Side note: if infusions were cheaper I would use the excess weapons to level up my vaulted exotics which Bungle left at 10 even though the minimum power level is 300.

It got boring real quick, 3 weapons for 2 weeks and they drop like candy within a game or two? I will say, I’ve always liked the towers snow vibe during the Dawning.

I don't see why the whole set couldn't have been available with attunement or at least focusing like it had in the past.
