The current state of the game makes you wonder, was Activision really the problem, or did Activision see that not only was Bungie difficult to work with, but they were lazy, short sighted, and arrogant. Activision runs some of the biggest franchises in gaming, I think they probably know a thing or two about running a successful franchise. Bungie had a winning lottery ticket with Destiny and by this time next year, maybe it will all be gone, what a shame, SO DUMB!!!!

4 commentairesBungie management have steered Destiny towards greatness and also towards disaster. Sony has full control now, so we’ll see what they can do. I believe they want to invest and the multi-year roadmap will confirm that.

That question was answered long ago, Bungie got worse when they went independent They can't self motivate, they need someone behind them cracking the whip, why do you think they never made a bad Halo game, because they were under the careful supervision of Microsoft

Bungie management were more of a problem than Activision. The game didn’t exactly improve after Activision and Bungie split. Remember that Activision had High Moon and Vicarious Visions help Bungie with content. In contrast Sony have hoovered up 150 or so Bungie staff for other projects.

Because Activision, the company that churns out call of duty every single year with a fast declining player base, was never the problem. Would you people be happier being on destiny 6 and it just devolving into another cod? You know, that game that is just essentially a reskin every year with barely any changes in between them. If you people who clearly just hate the game and everything bungie touches or does, why not just quit already? At least stop with all the whining when we all know a majority of you will be here every dlc, throwing money at it just to complain about it. See you next year with a similar post or claiming how you "quit" but are still here complaining about something no one is forcing you to play.

Content definitely got worse after the split. I miss the days of multiple new strikes with each released DLC and free Silver...

Yes, it was a problem on two fronts.

Seeing that every time they’ve gone independent they get progressively worse? No, they weren’t the problem lol.

If base D2 didn’t answer that question for you, your name much be Forrest Gump.
