I was kinda lazy to write this, but the last couple of days made my head scratching. I know it maybe be the 1000th post, but still, a question/message/rant to Bungie team: So, it seems everyone knows that there is a mass outage of the game due to Tарir error in most of CIS countries: Russia, Belarus, Ukraine, Kazakhstan, Armenia, and with even some reports coming from different countries like China, Denmark, Finland. We all thought that this is a little outage, like it was back in Heresy, 2-3 days and it will be fixed. But it went 5 days, and still zero response from Bungie. Only scripted answers that you'll investigate and we should reboot the router. But in your recent stream you began to just ban people talking about tарir error code. So, you basically confirmed the fact that the outage is purposeful, you just blocked several countries from playing the game. Even countries that are on different sides of barricades I am not interested in politics whatsoever, i do not support what my country does and I just want to play the game I've been passionately playing since D1 Beta in 2014 without using some VPN crap to have a risk of getting banned. I will play the game even with VPN, and i understand that eventually I might get banned, and it will be for nothing. Just because i wanted to play my favourite game. I've been very loyal to your studio as a dev, maybe even a bit TOO loyal, damage controlling some of your actions with thoughts like "anyway, Bungie are cool guys, they will make everything right, they will fix everything up, because Destiny is amazing, and I will stay with it until the end of days" But your recent actions made me think that I was a little too confident in you. I just don't understand - WHY NOW? It's been like 3.5 years since all hell came loose. And considering EOF sales and player counts, it seems like a very dumb move to cut off couple of tens of thousands of your playerbase. IT seems more dumb considering you have Russian community managers, you still make Russian localizations with best of the best of our voice actors, with Russian localization directors. I just hope that this outage is INDEED and outage, not a planned blocking of certain regions, but if not - I only want to ask you one question: Why can't you pull your socks up, go out and publically declare smth like "We a ceasing the access to our game in certain countries because *your reasons here*" If there is indeed a planned cease of playing the game - then publically say it, so we don't continue to hold false hopes. So we can just say "Thanks for the ride, it's been an amazing 11-year journey" Say it, or fix it, Stop ignoring P.S. I'd like to thank some amazing community members like Cheese Forever and LUCKYY10P and everyone else not scared of covering the situation, You are amazing, fellas.
