Select a lower difficulty? My kids are around 180-200 and having fun stomping in the 100 playlist -

You can't. If you're 400 & choose say 200, you match no one because it matches on power & there's no other 400s in that playlist. The loot is also pointless in there so at that stage why bother even playing.

There are solo ops and FTF to play with others- … not everyone cares or knows about armor and tiers and the meta. Lots of players simply pick up what they like and think is cool and blast aliens. Choosing a lower level experience allows them to be a space alien destroyer of worlds. Take the OP for example; he had actium and wasnt using an auto rifle - why? I don’t know but maybe he thought the armor looked cool… doesn’t always have to be about loot and power progression

Last time I played on Solo, with all the modifiers I needed for a B+, I was criting a barrier champ, with my Tier 5 weapon for 7 dmg. Chaos reshaped x2+ Radiant+ 2 solar surges. So, nah. It's trash, and I'm above 400

Proportionally you were making the same amount of damage as before EoF. Even a child would understand that the only thing B did was reduce the dmg inflation by scaling down the health pools and damage numbers.

Hell buddy. I have a full size model Gjallarhorn hanging on the wall in my office. If you want to do business with me you have to listen to my story about how I was smart enough to buy it when Xur first sold it. I tell people about my triple 100 armor all the time. Why just the other night I was chatting up a girl about it at the bar and it sealed the deal. Then when I told her I had gilded Dredgen 6 times she called over her roommate and they rocked my world.
