Starting next reset on Tuesday, September 16th, let’s rally to have as much of the community as possible to tank Bungie’s active player base
I want to give the opportunity for as many guardians out there who are continuously frustrated and disappointed at the direction this company is taking this game to see this post and have time to implement this LESSON Bungie needs to learn.
They say they hear our feedback but double down on implementations no one wants. Things that make the game fun are quickly removed and everything that makes this game a chore, they increase. I’ve never seen another game where the studio literally spits in its community’s faces as much as Bungie does.
Well, enough is enough. As a community, we have to stand up and say no more. I am creating this thread in hopes that all active players quit playing next week for the entire week. Don’t play. Don’t log on. Let’s tank their player base. Maybe it’s the only way they will take us seriously if we show them that the money they want from us, can be lost rather quickly. As a community, collectively, we say go punch sand.
Boost the thread and leave a comment if you’re down to give them a wake up call.

Haven't touched ash and iron, not until they address the many issues this game has, I'll pass until then
-
13 commentairesCheck out what their employees are supporting online, particularly over the last few days.

2 commentairesActually after 11 years addiction, Bungie is helping me quit. So i'm rather thankful then angry.

I quit playing after EoF launched, waited until Ash and Iron to see if any improvements happened. Game is cooked and down the drain. Seeing the lightsaber in the vidoc was enough for me to uninstall. Game is boring, extremely grindy and trying to copy 2 extremely overrated franchises now apparently. I want to play Destiny, not SW and not HD2. Game has been uninstalled and will stay that way.
-
2 commentairesOne week, huh? Then go back to the grind?!? I’ve not logged in for over a month, and haven’t seen a reason to start playing again. They have a fundamental problem as a company, and until they figure that out and resolve it, you won’t see improvements. A week isn’t going to help.

2 commentairesMan I left over a year ago after nearly 10 years of playing and I don't miss it one bit the only satisfaction I get from Destiny nowadays is dropping in here to see how badly they have f****d their player base again and watch the forums burn it brings a smile to my face and a joyful tear to my eye

The only way this changes, not just minor changes, is if people stop paying and stop playing.

i'd be a 'paid protestor' if the offer was sweet enough. LOL j/k

2 commentairesAddiction is too strong for some. Got a clan mate who only plays D2. I know he owns at least a dozen other games because I've seen him playing them. He got Baldur's Gate 3 when it dropped on console. He never even made it past the first 30 minutes of the game. I've heard him praise The Division 2 on multiple occasions. Seen him playing it once. Destiny 2 is his life it seems.

Already dumped Destiny 2

Don't need a petition, I got BL4 and Cronos: the new dawn holding me down. But I hope this gets through them. Either that or the game is truly, dead. As in its just a shell of what it used to be. We ain't gonna see this bungie or destiny be the same anymore. Its a completely different d2 now, and when bungie makes big decisions like this, I dont think they ever reverted an update before. So, I only log in when I need to get that destiny urge out the way. Then I move to other games. I just dont miss destiny as I used to. Oh well life moves on

Looks like you’re the only one playing.

I don't play anymore but Bumpity bump bump

1 commentaireThought I’d post this to support your argument. https://youtu.be/JHO9t3WWMo8?si=_9zS2-Nf6CxP0C_q

2 commentairesWhat do you think this will do? Sony is a $12.9T company. Sure they bought Bungie and it’s probably regretting the purchase. All this will do is put the nail in the coffin earlier. If you want the game gone, it’s a perfect idea….if you think this will motivate Sony or Bungie to fix the game…you’re sadly mistaken.
-
3 commentairesI’m having fun, and will continue to play the game. I will absolutely stop playing if I cease to find enjoyment in it.
-
ooooh, but, that's Iron Banner week. Can I do the week after?

What needs boycotting is Eververse. We can still play the game, but stop buying anything there for a month. They got us with the good old car sales man FOMO: « for a limited time only ». But if you want to send a message you have to hit their wallet. Looking at Paul Tassi video, Eververse is where Bungie is putting their energy. -
1 commentaireI agree. We need to stop playing the game. Bungie thinks they can disrespect us selling us a full price expansion with barely new content and using those resources and money for -blam!- concord 2.0.
-
It’s actually really sad to see what’s happening with our beloved d2! But at the same time it’s amazing how much people will take to keep playing religiously. Bungie …Sony really don’t respect their d2 community.

they only listen to streamers
