Yes and it's a slap in the face that we never get more powerful. Everything scales.
Make power levels work like destiny 1. We need to get STRONGER if we are over the recommended level.
The difficulty now is simply too punishing.

Barrier servitors at the syart to deactivate the 3 things to procceed can be killed even before they get a chance to put up their shields.

Where or when you're level or over level in destiny? And since when you can over level in GM when you're always scaled to be below required power level?
Where or when you're level or over level in destiny? And since when you can over level in GM when you're always scaled to be below required power level?
In the portal. Ever since edge of fate came out. GM difficulty starts at 400 and you can add modifiers to make it higher. You're only scaled in pre-set stuff that so many are complaining about instead setting their own modifiers and enjoying what they play.
GM difficulty starts at 400 and you can add modifiers to make it higher.
So, where does your statement take effect?
If you level or over level enemies you are more powerful.
Especially when GM always scale you below the power level with modifiers making it even higher
If you level or over level enemies you are more powerful.
Especially when GM always scale you below the power level with modifiers making it even higher
If you leave the GM activity to be 400 and you are 401 then can you work out how much you have over leveled? You can over level portal activities. You can set it to 430 and be be 436 meaning you 6 light over. At 436 I could set it like that to get expected B+ rewards in solo and pinnacle ops but because you blast through everythi g because you are over light you finish with plenty of time on the clock giving you a time bonus which then bumps you up to an A grade score. In fireteam ops in most cases I would have to set it to 440 while being a few light under unless I knew I could finish the fireteam ops activity with at least a few minutes left on the clock.
If you leave the GM activity to be 400 and you are 401 then can you work out how much you have over leveled?
When GM always put you at power disadvantage? Doesn't matter being 401 on 400 GM if you get scaled and enemies are over 401 because of that. Unless the scaling is completely removed, you'll face 421 enemies with -20 scaling at 401
You can set it to 430 and be be 436 meaning you 6 light over.
Are you sure you're 6 light over instead of facing enemies over 436 because of power delta? Hard to believe you can over level when everything has power delta, even patrol with -5 power

100%... If you learn the system, it only gets easier... you get more powerful. It CAN encourage growth if you play mindfully. I never played D2 before with no HuD, now it seems weird to have the HuD on... Which required me to become more in tune with my build. This grind has made me a better player.
