It’s starting a farm not because you love agriculture, but because you got kicked out of Whole Foods for arguing that kombucha is a government conspiracy.
Tegridy is Randy Marsh deciding he’s the moral compass of South Park—while wearing Crocs and a cowboy hat, **** as a kite, lecturing a squirrel about capitalism.
That’s Tegridy, Bungie.
That’s real Tegridy.
Not selling half-baked expansions like "Edge of Fate" for a premium price and using that to fund Marathon.

I’m getting it. I don’t play video games as much anymore, so this has been my main game. Enjoyed for years through the ups and downs. The changes I like. I don’t care to be attached to armor sets that don’t matter.

I’m at a point now where I’m withholding money until I’ve had enough to drink. I like some of the changes. Other changes I think are going to be a total train wreck and there will be some damage control. The game has always been evolving and not everything Bungie has done has worked out. I’m at the pub right now, so maybe today is the day 😂.

I’m withholding for now and will do free to play to see if I like the changes to armor and stuff. I’m not gonna lie turning into a lightning ball to get around the place just isn’t my cup of tea. I want to see how my old gear plays out in activities and if later I like it I’ll probably get it at a discount but It’s not like the old days where I’m excited and counted down the days to the release. I even left my clan, scheduled my discord for deletion because I only used it for D2 and pretty much deleted everyone in my friends list who I played D2 with because I haven’t played with them for months. I even deleted 99% of my saved builds from DIM and in game. That should tell you my mindset right there.

2 commentairesThis is the first expansion I haven't preordered. The game is boring, and I don't want to be forced to LFG to play the game. The artificial grind is a massive time sink.

It's sad that it has changed this much. Edge of Fate has sealed their fate in my eyes. Somebody in the deciding management really hates Destiny I think. How can you make these kind of changes and expect long time loyal customers to be satisfied with grinding again for all sorts of new type of armor it's just ridiculous.

6 commentairesModifié par ben : 7/5/2025 10:01:10 PMGets a clue about what The problem with these posts is that theyre too vague "Im not preordering edge of fate until bungie listens to their community and gives us what we want" This game has like 10 million active players across a huge spectrum of skill and playstyles and things they care about in the game, the things you value will vary from the next person and so on Half the time when they implement a change or take the game in a direction that people ask for, people are still unhappy If you dont like it no one is making you buy it, can always wait until its out if you're skeptical, keep in mind preordering is something that fans of the game who will play no matter what do, its the exception not the norm

I literally canceled my preorde last week. A friend who has been on in 2 years decided to finally settle down and wants a game to play and destiny was his jam. Told him the changes aren't to my liking and im not gonna be buying the dlc. I'll probably play it as ftp as much as possible to see how things are, and next I know he pre-ordered the game and bought me a $100 gift card -__-. Idk if o should renew my ps+ or just bite the bullet and get the dlc for his sake. Just a little extra info, we fo way back, we used to live in the same neighborhood and go to the same school, nearly 26 years of friendship. So idk, im in a pickle now lol I really do t want to support this bungie or dlc

2 commentairesI think you already know I’m going FTP. This will be the first D2 dlc I’ve just gone nope, nope and -blam!--ing nope at every single thing they’ve shown. It’ll be the first one I’ve not preordered. I mean I’m not the best at GM’s but I’ve grown to really love them. Why are they going away? What’s happening to the raids and dungeons I’ve bought and paid for? When can I access that content again after I’m back down at 10 -blam!--ing light? A lot of swearing here but I’m so very annoyed at these changes. I sincerely hope that the changes crash the living 💩 out of the servers and they have to roll back every single asinine decision. Except the armor. I’ve kinda come around to thinking maybe it’s a good thing. Maybe. 🤔.

I am not preordering. I have preordered everything in D2 up till now. Don't get me wrong, I love destiny. However, I'm tired of fomo and being tied to this game. Destiny could be absolutely peaking right now(it's not, btw) with the best forsaken/taken king class expansion dropping(also, not) and I still wouldn't preorder. I just don't have the time. I will go full on free to play going forward, but that will likely just be a couple strikes on the weekend, to be honest. If it is even worth mentioning at this point, I just want to say that I will not be touching marathon if it is ever released due to how D2 has been managed.

Stopped preordering couple of years ago especially with Bungie . At this point it isn’t even Bungie anymore …so not getting expansion. Just going to sit back and see what happens …I’m not expecting anything after seeing the reveal trailers and feed back so far . The only people who will get pumped are just the people who are addicted to the grind and songie know this well now.
