Hey guys, I’m not sure if everyone feels the same but I feel that what’s the point it farming for
Perfect rolls or godroll for when seasonal gear is will do either more damage or damage reduction than your current gear that you obtain?
I’m sorry bungie but this littler kills reason to farm since seasonal trash stats will provide a better bonus than farming for perfect rolls??

1 commentaireYeah I'm not doing it anymore, I'm getting too old for this bs. Tired of the revamping of systems that no one asked for instead of new content.
-
Ahhh yes, some more people with sense. So stupid how so many are just like, “actually ☝🏽🤓 it happens with every large expansion and at least it’s not as “hard” of sunsetting like the last time”. To those I say, keep being fine with mediocrity.
-
17 commentairesAgreed it’s definitely back door sunsetting to keep us grinding
-
It’s a wipe what ever way you say it. I’m just deleting my whole vault …what’s the point , I don’t play much less now and definitely no pve . Feels kinda of good just mass deleting. I just can’t bring myself to grind anymore in destiny . I had ten amazing years well more of them from one game ….no over game has come close . Bungie is not Bungie now ….everyone has gone and now stand in and people from Sony . It was a blast
-
You can always just use what you have now while yes it won't be as good it'll still be good in the majority of content. I don't see stuff like my current weapons struggling in normal raids at all my phsycopump with ambitious assassin and elemental honing will still slap adds especially on prismatic. The difference for most will be felt in harder content but casual I don't see it mattering nearly as much.

3 commentairesplay free version ,wait and see if it's good or bad . then wait for major price drop when sales tank because of the new changes implemented .
-
11 commentairesGonna have to farm every armor for pvp again, what a pain.
-
5 commentairesIs 10% the difference between completing content and not? If so, maybe look into the content you’re doing in the first place. You don’t need to match surges to complete a GM efficiently and that’s 25%, so what’s 10% going to do.
-
And after last sunset they said they would never sunset again…
-
Pretty sure we’re on Sunsetting v5.0 now…counting Destiny 1…
-
1 commentaireYou do know our weapons have always got sunset by new and better stat weapons right
-
5 commentairesRemoving content is always a bad look in a game where players are paying for the content, with the expection that its in the game permanently, and they won't try to sell it back to you at some point in the future. It also is a massive slap in the face and disrespecting players time. in a free game, yeah, sure, do what you want the players aint paying for it, but when its paid content, hmmmm alaram bells start ringing.

Modifié par Mark, Scholar of Stars : 7/1/2025 7:52:01 AMIt's been disappointing for quite some time. Just to be fair. There are people in my surroundings who encouraged me for Armor 3.0. People who have been there since the original Destiny. But still, I'm skeptical and want to see what happens in two weeks. I don't like the idea of an expiry regarding armor and weapons on a six-month basis. Edit: Text correction

1 commentaireSunset my gear i sunset my wallet

Think of it as a Diablo-esque style reboot in more of an RPG and less of a Looter-Shooter, difference is Diablo had a separate Season Realm with separate Season loot for the season characters. Basically none of the crap you got in the Light/Dark saga will matter, those godrolls, those old builds, that vault of things you collected. It may as well be a Destiny 3, but Bungie likely has no money to build a Destiny 3 so this is how they build it into the outdated Destiny 2. If Bungie had made a Destiny 3 it could have been console-updated to only new consoles hence solving a vault size update snag, and overall enhancement of game.

4 commentairesIts actually WORSE because this time they are making us (euphemistically yet realistically) self-sunset. Sure wee can keep and work with what we have. But if you intend to do anything beyond the basic and/or compete with, or against, others then sunset you probably must. Good news for me, I'm NOT ordering EoF so while I will still have the new system - who cares. But that's assuming I'll even play. For the past month plus I've only jumped in to see what was new for the week. And why? For me Bungo has already ruined the game I once loved and surely, as of just seeing clips and am SO NOT interested in all this new BS.

You do realize better weapons and perks have always sunsetted our vaults right, like when they removed the powercap on old weapons, and people started using them again, but they feel horrible compared to the weapons in the current loot pool Bungie are just making it official in EOF
-
It’s literally the only issue I’ve had with what they’ve introduced. Getting new armor, weapon tiers, etc - all 100% fine or at least willing to try. These “new weapon and armor” damage and DR bonuses are straight up bad. They either need to be restricted to non-raid “seasonal” content or they need to be removed entirely. They already dropped it from the Day 1 raid because it breaks the game’s balance. Then why is it still a thing for everywhere else.
-
For Grandmasters and future Ultimate-level content, I can see why people would be invested in more damage and more damage reduction. But only if you are running that level of content, and only if you choose to use it. The bonuses only make those weapons and armor sets slightly better to use than other gear, not mandatory.
-
Lol I don't think a few stat points and seasonal buffs are that important. Buildcrafting and perks are more meaningful, at least to me. I'll propably continue playing without buying the new expansion until it's on sale as usual. The armor change is a bit more tricky but we'll see how it's gonna turn out.
-
The dreg in the EDZ does not care.
-
Armor needed the rework. Apart from artific or not, there was litterly no value to any of it other then being north of 66+ and allocated in the stats you wanted. My only concern is the the bonus resiliency they add to tier5s and such. But for the upcoming day1 raid that stuff is not Needed either, contest mode is rulling those stats out anyway. So it be after 6 months having to go for completely new sets is going to be the breaking point. But knowing bungie, they are going to give in to it and leave it be making it the new default for all tier 5 armor. I’m not worried about the weapons at all. The godroles you have right now are still going to be godroles, and in due time you may find a new version with the same archetype and set of perks on them. And even then you can make up your own mind on keeping it or delete It from you vault.
-
I am also wondering what detrimental effect all of this tiered armor and weapons will have on lower level matchmade activities such as strikes, nightfalls and gambit, as those activities will only drop lower tiered gear unless modifiers are added which will require lfg, so I can only imagine that players won't bother running those activities at all which will mean longer wait times for those that do such as new lights?

2 commentairesSunsetting is good for the game it's a loot shooter buddy

6 commentairesArmor 2.0 is as better than our initial armor. I think 3.0 looks better than what we have so I’m looking forward to getting the new stuff. We’ve had this armor for years and it’s negated armor to an instant delete. Game has to move forward at times.
