A disappointingly significant portion of whatever pvp population is left plays quickplay modes like it's game 7 on a flawless trials card. There needs to be an incentive to:
1. Attract new players to pvp.
2. Make the sweats CHILL THE F OUT so the newcomers don't leave immediately and never return.
-
3 commentairesParty Modes is where you'll find the casual players you so desperately want to be around. The only people who want "casuals" in standard PvP modes, including Quick Play, are players who want to farm them.
-
11 commentairesGetting fed up with people who have both consoles, epic and pc in bio and then play and sim like they are on mnk. The movement and instant headshot aim is not possible on controller… Pc ruined destiny

8 commentairesI'd love that. Regular PvP used to be kinda chill, now I'm guessing most chill or casual players got sick of people taking it too seriously and stopped playing. The thing that drives me insane is the sheep mentality. Oh everyone is using this gun because it's easy to obtain and requires almost no skill, I'll equip that until it's nerfed into the ground. Think for yourself.

3 commentairesModifié par Dworf : 12/18/2024 9:37:05 PMAccording to Charlemagne Real-Time Guardian Activity with a 3 hour snapshot shows that 11% of the player base is engaged in PVP. Why should Bungholio invest in this format considering that PVP is free to play and that all PVP sweats are not paying for the game meaning that they are useless leaches sucking on the Bungholio T!T. Merry Christmas

1 commentaireThere's always shitters like you in every game, not just D2. "Stop using the meta, you're a meta sheep" lmao my guy there's no merit to handicapping yourself using garbage loadouts. If you feel better about yourself by straight up sabotaging yourself using garbage, that's fine. But no decent player is going to think better of you for it.

17 commentairesWe, the elite D1 pre-alpha vet community, don't just play; we command with aggressive, skillful gameplay to showcase our skill, passion, and gravitas to friends and family. Our presence in every match declares supremacy, extending PvP not only for the intensity but to demonstrate mastery. As original shapers of the Destiny meta, we embody what it means to be at the elite tier.

2 commentairesModifié par Hyperion724 : 12/17/2024 10:58:33 PMD2's Crucible has been a meta crutch since the beginning. I distinctly remember year one crucible being absolutely INFESTED with people relentlessly spamming Uriel's Gift and Last Hope.

I think that the vast majority of this game's current playerbase that would refer to itself as PvP players should be cooperative with anything regarding handing the game off to a new generation. That includes all PvP players. If you've been playing the whole time as a supposed "casual" you probably haven't helped the game any more than the "sweats" supposedly haven't and there's plenty of evidence for that to be the case. If I need to go some of you are coming too.
-
4 commentairesI'm not trying to sound condescending here, but, I don't get this mindset of "casual PvP" at all. You're there to compete against each other. The whole point is to try to defeat your opponents without being defeated yourself. Like, seriously, explain to me exactly what "casual PvP" looks like. Because in my mind, I'm imagining that you're wanting to go in there and have your opponents just let you shoot them, like, "Hey! Don't move around and shoot back at me. It's my turn to get a defeat on you." Like are you wanting to take turns defeating each other, or like you and your opponent just stand there and shoot at each other in the middle of the map, or what?
-
Mate, that's what 6s are. It has been researched that "safe spaces" are actually BAD for a game.

10 commentairesThe joy of PvP is that no matter how much you can try Sweaty McBallbag over there with his godroll pvp weapons will just wipe you out, teabag you, probably verbally abuse you, leave and then whinge to his friends once the population of the PvP mode is small enough.

2 commentairesIt needs more fun party modes like Mayhem. Team hive swords Multi team Koth Heavy and special only mode Griff ball Bungie used to be the king of pvp with Halo and they had some of the funnest party modes.

Modifié par Illuminatis_fedl : 12/18/2024 5:02:36 AMBruh you know why controls is sweaty? It’s not because of the meta it’s because of the players. Like why on green earth are players camping back in there original spawn area , not pushing, not capturing zones , playing it safe ect. That’s why quick play be sweaty for no freaking reason 🙄 Also stop blaming sweats it’s the casuals and the clueless that are the problem

24 commentairesModifié par Zodleon : 12/17/2024 10:02:59 AMOk so I have a question. If I use symmetry, absolute trash gun, funny, but garbage, and I still push 25+ defeats fairly consistently with the meme is that chill? Or sweat?
-
Are we talking about the players sitting mid to mid long range using pulse rifles, team firing pulse rifles or the guys that walk up on you and snag some kills while you’re hard scoped? Or the players that are nonstop ability spamming? Or what?
-
2 commentairesSbmm killed the population in both comp and qp so now the options are 1 solo que and play against players who are playing like it’s a tournament and their lives depend on it. (Also usually pretty bad connection). 2 play as a team and pub stomp. The 2nd option is so extremely unfun but it’s still better than option 1 where you want to pull your hair out every match.
-
8 commentairesIf comp had an actual rank system with loot/cosmetics that were appealing most of the “sweats” would probably be there instead of qp but comp is terrible so

Modifié par A485258 : 12/18/2024 4:01:57 AMGod forbid people enter the Crucible, to try and kick your -blam!-, instead of bending over for you. Boo hoo hoo. I’d get you a box of tissues for you, but it wouldn’t solve what is put**atively a “you” problem.

First time?

I got hate mail for using a pulse rifle the other day. What am I supposed to do, use something that is sub-optimal? Why is there merit in running a crappy loadout? As long as Bungie pushes ‘metas’, this will always be an issue. The only way to resolve it is to truly balance the sandbox (which they can do), but that goes against one of the pillars of the game’s design - a perpetual grind for relevant gear. I just accept the game is not balanced, take it for what it is (a fun, casual PvP experience) and play Halo when I want a more competitive, balanced sandbox.

I heard the alphabet mafia was angry at Hogwart’s Legacy, so I bought it. Haven’t played it much, just happy to support a good cause.

10 commentairesHow do you force or incentivize people to not try to win a pvp match?
-
1 commentaireIt's a nice thought BUT it's too late for any relevant change. Specially in PvP everything is like playing an EA tournament. If you do well you'll get bashed for "Being a sweat" or if you do bad " You're trash" comment.
