Does Bungie even look at appeals? And why was this a ban….
A few weeks ago I did an appeal for a ban and it’s never been looked at. Going on 30 days open. I got with a random in trials from the LFG on Bungie app… that person was a cheater and I received a ban for being in their fireteam (I’m assuming). I was not aware that you had to make sure other players were playing legit to avoid getting in trouble using LFG…. That should be Bungie’s job and their anti-cheat. When I noticed he wasn’t missing and doing weird stuff I left. But I still was punished.
Any idea why that was a ban? Or how long it takes to get an appeal looked at….

Typically, you will only hear back from them if there is more information needed or if the appeal results in the ban being overturned. If you have not heard back within a few weeks, it is most likely safe to say the ban was found to be valid and not overturned.
