LGBT shouldn’t want [i]this[/i] as their poster relationship. They should have focused on Devrim and his husband. Or Ana and whoever she’s with. Not this robot and human dysfunctional bizarro world.

Someone from that group here, I can say for myself, I don't want this forced relationship as my poster. It would be one thing if it was written well, but Bungie is not fooling anyone. We all know the only reason they did it, was to basically say, Look at us, we're on your side. Even though I'm not oppressed at all in any western country. Now if they wanted to show concern for those in countries where it's a crime to be gay, that would go a lot further than characters in a game.

Nice response, thank you. I personally don’t want any relationship in this game at all. It just feels no necessity. In the Lore for people who like that, that’s fine. But I want an actual interesting Quest to expand on what is going on with Nessus and Failsafe etc. Not a love story. I’m not LGBT but if I was I definitely would be furious that Bungie’s interpretation for this is a robot and an old man. I am female so I definitely understand when something is being pushed for pandering purposes and thinking “No, that’s definitely not want I want as a poster for women” so I could only imagine how people feel about this that are LGBT. I am super confused how some think this story is brilliant 🥴

Right. It's so bad that it feels like there's a leader at Bungie who is secretly phobic and purposely publishes this crap in order to undermine the community. Devrim or Anna would have been the way to go, and maybe even people on the other side of the aisle would of softened their resolve of hate.

No love story at all would be preferable! But yes it would get less annoying if it were anyone but these two snores.
