Tempest Tornado
Hurl a large tornado onto the battlefield that tracks and pulls enemies towards itself jolting those in close proximity.
This super is supposed to be a cross between Deadfall and Silence And Squall from the Hunters. I wanted it to bear similarities to Gathering Storm and make it a more powerful shutdown super, but I ultimately couldn't find a way to balance it. Here's some of the other important information. For damage I used this spreadsheet and went to abilities as a reference https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1_5wtBjRYHHxuF4oJKDb_iOGZs-wTkzB6RYbnyNLbuz4/edit?usp=drivesdk:
Style - One off.
Lifetime - 10s
Charge rate - 7:35
Overall damage - ~180,000 (Silence And Squall damage is comparable)
Affected radius - (Comparable to Gathering Storm)
(Edit)
Yes this was inspired by the tower upgrade of the same name from Bloons Tower Defense. I will not apologize.
New exotic to go with it:
Calamity
Warlock Arms
Make it shine
When allies use their abilities near the Tornado, they are absorbed to make the storm more powerful. When a super is absorbed, your ally gains back half their super energy and you gain class ability energy. The storm carries status effects and applies them to enemies.
Yes this was inspired by the Make It Shine perk for Gaige in Borderlands 2. I will not apologize. And yes, I would gladly throw away my Super for this storm. The hellish nightmare you could create with so many combinations... It is breathtaking...

I mean, just give em a big arc blast like an instant chaos reach. Also storm trance sucks it needs massive buffs.
-
Pre nerf improved Titan storm grenades should have been a new the new arc warlock super, they were that good and would fit the whole stormcaller name.
-
Judging by how the other arc supers went for Warlock: Lasts 5s at base. Requires an exotic to not be terrible that will take its time to 15s.

Modifié par Mudd-11 : 3/27/2024 6:51:15 AMI actually had a similar idea recently, like a large rift the size of Well of Radiance but instead of providing healing it would give the Jolt debuff to enemies that step inside, or maybe also pushes them away like a miniature hurricane/typhoon. Your idea is pretty great, but it doesn't have to be on the loose, it could just stick around you like the Banner of War ability.
